@Pyle81

@@Justiceincorporated. The Firearms industry today doesn't even come close to how much walnut is used today in custom hard wood floors, And custom cabinets and specialty wood projects. There is VERY few Firearm Manufacturers left today that are building guns with a Wood Stock. Everything has either gone to Composite, Fiberglass Based Composite, Plastic, Or Carbon Fiber. Really the only Firearms using Walnut for there stocks are the very high end models of Target Shotguns. And a few of the high end Hunting Rifles made by Weatherby and custom manufacturers. And the reason is simple. Walnut is prone to swelling and warping in humid and wet weather. The laminated Stocks with Birch and Maple really put a end to the lower end Firearms using Black Walnut in the early 1990's. Then the Composite stocks finished Walnut off in the Firearms Industry as it was once know for.

1:18 Could you please explain the ''Red tape'' mention?
@byron7165
9 ай бұрын
Return to dig is a sensor that when enabled resets the buclet to a predetermined place. Usually a flat position. If you don't have that feature, you can set your buclet to a dig position and put a ring of colored tape around the cylinder so you have a "no guess" reference where your bucket is (angle relative to the ground). Mark may describe it better, but that't essentially its purpose.
@Pyle81
9 ай бұрын
Another trick we used back before all this computerized equipment came around. We used a 1/4" rod that was attached to the arms where the bucket mounts. And it would be bent at a 90°angle. And when the bucket was sitting flat on the ground and the cutting edge was level. You marked where the pointer rod was with either tape or paint to show you at what angle your cutting/lead edge of your bucket was at. Basically you lined up the two marks and off you go. Same theory as using the tape on the cylinder idea. Now with auto leveling sensors and auto leveling hydraulics it's all either done for you. Or you just push a button and the machine does it for you. Where its nice is on the LARGE loaders in Sand and Gravel pits. Auto level actually can save a significant amount of fuel at the end of the day for tons of material moved. When you're moving wet sand at 30 tons a pop. You want that bucket as full as possible every time you hit the sand pile. Diesel fuel isn't cheap anymore,Even off road. So you want to get ever ounce of material moved for every gallon of fuel you have to burn.
