Idk how everyone can just stand around and watch one person dig. I wouldn’t be able to keep myself out of the dirt. Looks fun!

My husband digs around Charleston. I’ll have him look you guys up. He digs along the rivers and comes home muddy but finds a lot of bottles. He has everything from colonial onion bottles to early sodas.

Hi! I dig around a lot in Charleston and am always looking for someone else to go out with. Most people I know think my hobby is crazy. Let me know if your husband ever wants someone to go along with in search of dumps etc.

Still dog tired from a downtown dig yesterday. Then worked for my landlord all day. Morning dug some Haole Koa stumps, gathered & disposed of old rubber hoses, then relaxing painting. Found signs that c1980 diggers were already there, downtown Kakaako. A whole Caws Ink and a smaller John Wyeth & Bro Phila. Two good Hollisters were broke, found a blue tarp 4' down. I've seen some fragments on this 3 acre property, but no good dump. 10" of soil over coral outcrop. Try again away from the road? Overlooked by hipster condos, so wear a plausibility disguise-overalls & hardhat. Had better luck digging there Spring of last year, still all local sodas broke. Competing with street kids of 1893? They would break marble sodas for a free one, and they broke easily-weak design. The fewer Hutchs broken too. Still found good mainland stuff and a damaged Hawaiian whiskey. Keep chancing 'um? I dig the hard ground with a large 2 prong carving fork, marked U.S. 1970. Army issue BBQ?
