Love your list! I'm definitely interested in Never Enough, I think hearing about someone's research/knowledge fuelled by their own experiences can be very powerful.

Thanks! Another fun, informative video presentation. Can't read them all but definitely some titles for my ever-changing reading list. Most of my science reading selections are in the paleontology and astronomy fields but the one biology related book I have read is "The Botany of Desire" by Michael Pollan. Pollan tells us how plants have employed their devious ways to manipulate our species into spreading their seeds across the planet. The four main plant groups covered are marijuana, potatoes, tulips, and (the most interesting one) apples. Lots of good stuff here and highly recommended. Thanks so much for the content.

I’ve been eyeing that up in bookstores recently. Plants are so weird. I’ve read a few plant books in the past few years (Entangled Lives and The Secret Life of Trees both stand out) but I do want to read more. Also the fact the authors surname is so close to pollen is hilarious.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do think I need to branch out a bit into some chemistry or physics soon, but I find myself reaching for biology based science books surprisingly often! There's just such a huge variety out there!

You should look up John Lillys dolphin house, they crossed the line of ethics to having sex with dolphins, the woman scientist needed to change her name and identity after that was revealed. Bizzare

It is indeed on my shelf. I read it last year in August for Thrillerathon and my wrap up is here kzitem.info/news/bejne/u2ihmKmOkZOJeZw but basically I thought it was good fun, quite silly but a real page turner. It's also book 3 in a series but you don't need to have read the rest. Also was fun having a procedural thriller focused on the legal aspect rather than strictly detective :)

Hi Vidhi - I have some general non fiction recommendation videos as well as some about medical memoirs/paleontology/natural history that may be a good place to look. I haven't done another video just on science books in particular as I don't think I have many new ones to talk about.
