I'm so glad that what I've been saying for the past couple of months has finally been addressed by the senior scholars. I hope this is transmitted to every deceptive du'at who's used to this propagate Islam.

Some people indeed do tafseer from the lens of science. So they FIRST see what modern science says and THEN they go to the Qur'an forcing that science and their interpretation on its ayat without doing proper tafseer. This is wrong. As a matter of fact, even Christians can do this sometimes. As for FIRST doing authentic tafseer(quran with quran, Sunnah etc) and establishing what the real meaning is of a verse and THEN noticing that an ayat contains knowledge that was impossible to know in that time, then this is indeed a miracle that adds to the proof that our religion is true.

However, you won't be finding any "scientific miracles" with the guidelines you've established in the second paragraph, but rather you'll find discrepancies between Islam and science.

@@MohamedHassanAbdillahi It's a well established belief in Islam that intellect resides in the heart. From the Qur'an and Sunnah, we find that the heart can learn, the state of our heart (the piece of flesh located in the chest) affects our actions, and that the recitation of the Khawarij does not reach below their throats into their hearts (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 7123, Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 52). As far as science is concerned, there's no proof of intellect residing in the heart, only in the brain. There were even studies conducted in which people's hearts were replaced with mechanical ones; there were no changes in personality witnessed by the conductors of these experiments.

What about saying things like "the roundness of the earth is confirmed by the Quran" and other such sentences about definitive scientific facts that will never change for sure ? What about using these definitive facts in order to prove the Divine origin of the Quran to non-Muslims ?

@@محمد-ر6غ4ذ I wouldn't say the Qur'an confirms a round Earth. Also, some passages may lead one to believe it's based on a geocentric model. Early on and even today, many jurists hold this view.

@@7xxxx7xxxx7 the earth being round and the system being geocentric are two different things. There's consensus among the scholars that the earth is round and they've used the Quran to prove it. And this is not something new, most early scholars, maybe with the exception of a few, were already accepting the roundness of the earth. I used this as an example in my comment because the roundness of the earth is 100% proven, unlike many of the things scientists claim. Remember that Allah is the one who is right, He knows everything. So if anything in the Quran contradicts current science, then it's our science that is wrong. Allah only says the Truth. Many scholars still hold the view that our system is indeed geocentric, all the astronomical observations we make are possible in a geocentric model, and it's just our science that is wrong. We have to realize that as humans our knowledge is extremely limited in reality. I find it relieving to simply trust in Allah and to accept that we don't know everything, and I find it beautiful that, for us Muslims, science isn't limited by what current scientists are saying, it opens so many possibilities and so many opportunities for science to actually advance instead of being stuck on flawed theories. There's really a problem nowadays with scientists refusing to let go of flawed theories, even when all evidence goes against them, they've taken their theories as dogmas and a lot of scientists are currently complaining about that. It prevents new research and potential discoveries from being made.

@@محمد-ر6غ4ذ Say, what happens when there are "scientific facts" in the Qur'an, but there's conflict with "scientific facts" too? How can we present that as miraculous when the findings of science often go against us?

@@7xxxx7xxxx7 when I see something in the Quran that was later 100% confirmed by scientists, such as the roundness of the earth, It strengthen my faith. When I see scientists claim something that contradicts the Quran, I believe in what is in the Quran and I reject what the scientists claimed because the Quran is from the All-Knowing and thus definitely True while those scientists were just making a claim. That's how I would explain the matter to someone. By the way, I agree with what the Shaykh said in the video, I'm just wondering whether or not we can still use those unchangeable scientific facts that are found in the Quran in our arguments.

@@محمد-ر6غ4ذ I'm only saying that it's strange for us to use the findings of scientists to increase our faith, but when those scientists contradict Islam, their findings are somehow meaningless. Maybe we shouldn't be using their methods to prove Islam at all because they're a fickle friend.

@@7xxxx7xxxx7 The Heart does have its own complex nervous system known as the "intrinsic cardiac nervous system" or "heart-brain." This network of neurons within the heart is capable of processing information, making decisions, and even influencing emotions. The heart-brain communicates with the actual brain through the autonomic nervous system, sending signals that can affect things like heart rate and blood pressure. While the heart-brain doesn't have the cognitive abilities of the brain in your head, it plays a crucial role in regulating the heart's rhythm and responding to physiological changes. The heart and brain are deeply interconnected, and the heart's signals can influence emotional states and overall well-being. Dr Bilal Philips from Islamic online University have written an English commentary on the the essay written by Ibn taymiyyah regarding heart. In this essay ibn taymiyyah mentions that the heart is where the understanding happens. He clarifies that its not the physical heart where the understanding happens but rather its the location of heart where the understanding happens. So understanding happens at the location of the heart and not the physical heart. He provides evidence to it by making reference to surah An Nas where God instructs us to seek refuge from Satan who whispers to the breast of the mankind. Also he mentions that God did not say to us to seek refuge from satan who whispers to the brain of the human kind. Since satan is whispering to the breast of the mankind, the heart which is also in the exact location, understands it. One has to remember its the location where the understanding happens and not that the heart by itself understands it. He also continues to mention that the mind is medium to the heart. So the mind carries messages to heart and the heart understands it. He also mentions that some people are blessed with better mind which helps them to understand faster compared to others. He also mentions that the heart gets messages not just from the minds but also from the limbs, ear and eyes etc.
