" Scott's heart wasn't much in it, " - that is an amazing tyhing that he can come up with such class even when his heart aint in it. Of course that is just a guess on your part, but probably a correct one given the time it was recorded and the type of song it was. Thank you Scott...

I think I’m getting over you I think it’s gonna be all right now There’re things I forget to do Like staring into space And thinking of your face In the way I used to do I think I’m getting over Living without you Tomorrow has just begun And yesterday I saw the sun Shining through I think I’m getting over you I think I’m gonna smile today Perhaps a little sad but wiser I think I’ll walk a mile today To kiss the morning air The fragrance of your hair Yet be smiling just the same The world around my life is Full of your memories But Time’s gonna get me by There’s nothing else except A cry or two I think I’m getting over you And the way it was Not so long ago Just a year or so Since you were every day In all my peaceful nights And all my wrongs and rights Everything I lived for was for you Was for you Just for you But all the same I think I’m getting over you I think it’s gonna be all right now Coz there’re things I forget to do Like staring into space And thinking of your face In the way I used to do I think I’m getting over Living without you Tomorrow has just begun Oh! yesterday I saw the sun Shining through I think I’m getting over you

Thank you, Fadzilah, for the great job, much appreciated! You're right, the lyrics to this song are impossible to find, and as I said, I don't think Scott was much into it, which might explain why he is (uncharacteristically for him at this time) "chewing" on some of the words. It's also possible this was just a rehearsal tape, thus still a bit raw. If I may, I would only add a couple small corrections to your wonderful transcription: (...) yet be smiling just the same (...) there's nothing else except a cry or two (...) just a year or so since you were every day / in all my peaceful nights (...) You can listen to the lyrics more clearly in the beautiful Madeline Bell version: kzitem.info/news/bejne/o4qs33meanuCiYo Thanks again!
