The only one I had a it of trouble understanding was number 5. Other than that, it was a solid video, very easy on the pocket.

Look at the bracket for the front bumper closely. You can unbolt it and flip it over. This will offset the bumper higher. It makes a huge difference as you approach obstacles. Hope that helps.

Oh, thanks for getting back to me. I tried it, but now I can't get the body pins back on because of the extra height. Am I doing something wrong? EDIT: Oh, I saw what you meant! Just stick it to the top rather than shoot it through like originally. The screws are holding and it works. Was that what you meant?

@@bloodangelphil I had to trim the body below the grill behind the bumper so the body pins would king up again. Look close at the video. You will see the triangle notches below the grill.

Did the trimming but I just trimmed the whole length rather than notches since I wasn't confident. Luckily, the bumper hides my ugly cutting. All in all, I like it. Gonna put it to the test while I wait for my new wheels to come in.

The grease trick is just annoying I hate having to clean grease off the shocks every couple minutes. I got the old man emu rc4wd shocks for like 45$ and they are absolutely horrible even more bouncy than the stock lol.

Pancouver venguins I got the HR coil overs with the softer springs. Thy don’t hold oil either. I do like that they have threaded preload adjusters.

@Mister Miller Since I wrote this I kept tinkering with my rc4wd shocks and I figured out the best way at least for me is to run a droop setting, I took the springs out and put a tiny but of marine grease in them and the work pretty good now. They are longer than stock so on a droop it's like stock height, with springs it's like a lift kit lol.

Did you remove the stock tire from the rims?
@drtstar1
4 жыл бұрын
Waffles ya, the stock rims have a better offset so I slowly flexed the tires to break the glue then the stubborn places I slid a razor blade between them and they came off clean. I then put the milestar tires on with 6 tiny dabs of CA glue on the inside and outside of the rim.
