I think the way I mounted all the electronics under the tray worked pretty perfectly. Looking at the new Ultimates with the case, they would actually be a bit bigger than the pro. Of course no external BEC required, so that saves space. Think I am going to try out one of my Ultimates in my Cheat Code build.

Looks amazing and funny enough it is pretty much exactly what I'm building I have a c10 currently that I have upgraded to the max, barrage motor, all the red aluminum links, weights, Treal bead locks and 64mm little guy tires+++ and now Ive decided to go a different way so I ordered all the furitek brushless kit and I just received my injora buggy chassis and my radio link RC6GS, lizard pro, led light bar and more so the only difference is I haven't extended the front end and I am adding rear steer other than that our buggies will even look the same because I used the red aluminum links and so on. So as for the lights in the bumper I was thinking use a long piece of black heat shrink over the wires and they will disappear. Anyway awesome to see what my buggy will look like when I'm done (for the most part anyway). Thanks
@bcochener

Sound like it will be an awesome build! Rear steer on this would really help with the length. Good luck shrink tubing those wires..they are a bit large and that bundle at the end is pretty thick. I usually like to black out my wiring as well with shrink tube for looks. Good luck on the project!!
@timwegman5776

@@bcochener great idea with the shrink tube. Most everything is here except rear steer axle and servo ug they sent an email it'll be a week oh well. I've spent the past 5 hours building it those dang metal links always give me such a problem and of course none of the parts come with instructions but I've got all links, motor, weights, axles and servo all steering to screw to the buggy chassis the only part that gave me a problem is the weight kit I got that came with diff covers, knuckles, extenders and wheel weights don't play well with each other I can't use the weights with the extenders so why sell them as a package SMH any way your video has been a life saver, somewhat of a how to video for me so thank you and I wish I could send you build pictures some l how. Mine looks alot like yours and I'm telling you i ordered everything before I seen your video I even used black and gold diff covers and weights Andy way great minds and all. Thank you!!

@@bcochener I finally finished. The rear steer is great but sometimes makes it a bit difficult on narrow bridges because I haven't figured out how to set trim on aux channel but I have premix on and it's awesome. So I went 3s and the furitek 15t pinion and it does burnouts it's fast and still has the torque to climb walls. I had a hard time with lighting but I went with the metal jeep bumper that is the large triangle shape push bar it's great and some red tail lights in a custom bumper. I tried to make it look a bit different than mad max but honestly it looks alot like it, I accidentally even added the same Treal sticker to the top not realizing you had but I did injora side stickers. Anyway these things are beast and have blown away every truck in have went up against. Next I'm doing a drag truck with the furitek Godzilla and rocketman.

Love the build, what size spacers do you use for the shocks?
@bcochener

I’ve used different types. I usually just stack the plastic washer/spacers from Mofo RC. Allows for adjustment. Otherwise I have used Hot Racings aluminum spacer pack. Has 1mm up to 5mm, 4 of each. Any washer or even a plastic servo horn cut down. Mofos: www.moforc.com/products/8x-plastic-spacers-1-4mm-thick-1-4mm-hole-4mm-wide-diameter-used-for-body-spacers-mounts-shock-mounts-or-anything-you-can-imagine?_pos=1&_psq=spacers&_ss=e&_v=1.0 Hot Racings: M2 spacers look to be sold out.

@bcochener

I have the FOC set to its max (I think 30). -Field Oriented Control is the continuous torque to keep the vehicle moving constant over obstacles without the need to throttle up. Start up power(Low), MaxForw(100), MaxRev(100),MBrake(100),DragBrake(80),Punch(1), Nuetral Brake(1). You can play with throttle curve points as well. Example: 21/12, 38/55. 77/70, 100/100

@@bcochener Yes brass weighted wheels in the front helps a lot. I have a simiar setup but I went long using high links (short front, long on the rear) motor front(cheaper version surpass outrunner with hobbywing esc), lowering the shock position helps as well - give it lcg affect. Nice looking rig!
