Usually what I always do if I get seasick is 1 of 3 things and all of them work. 1. take a gravol( it's an over the counter you can buy here in Canada, other countries may have it not sure) I always bring 2 tablet bottles with me on the ships. 2. Drink a ginger ale and eat rice, this fixes it pretty fast usually. 3. If I can get outside on deck I'll walk out for a few minutes so I can see the horizon, get some fresh air. It helps me get my bearings and I can focus on something that's static and not moving. My stomach usually calms down after a bit and I don't feel nauseous and dizzy.

The pectin in green apples helps neutralize acid in the stomach, while the natural sugar helps settle the stomach 🤣 I used Bonine instead of Dramamine or other seasickness because it doesn’t cause drowsiness for me, so I could still work all day and not feel like crap! But I hate having to take it often so definitely used those other options you mentioned and most of them work! Sea bands don’t seem to work for me🤣🤣

The pectin in green apples helps neutralise acid in the stomach, thats why green apples are good

We took on our last two cruises both sea sickness tablets (the natural ones which are mainly ginger, as the original type ones have had me totally spaced out before), plus the sea bands :) i did not believe that the sea bands would work, i was very doubtful, but they worked fantastically :) they helped both my partner and I with nausea through some rough seas when used in conjunction with the tablets :)

I felt so bad for people that get seasick. I was on a cruise and we went through the tail end of a hurricane. I was fine but the center of the ship was full of seasick passengers. Get to center mass.

How about getting off the ship? I have just come off a week of being in a 50 foot catamaran sailing the BVI’s. I have been waking with migraines and a bit dizzy.

Lucie , so if you wear a green shirt like you have on now , and eat a green apple, you won't feel sick, right ,sure I won't. Yass. I have been on all the big ships and you still feel it when it's a bit rough ,lol .

Anecdotal evidence suggests eating green apples can help with seasickness. Green apples are especially high in pectin, a soluble fibre which turns water into a thick gel in your intestines. This slows down your digestion and settles your stomach.

Do the bands really work or is it a myth?

This might be a really stupid question but is it common for people to feel sea sick ? Do you always feel sick when it’s choppy ? Does it depend on the person? I’m only asking as I’ve never been on one so like I don’t know how I would feel ? 😂😂

It's not a stupid question! You may feel sick if it's really choppy but the ships are so big that 9 times out of 10 you cant feel the waves! If you dont get car sick then you probably won't get sea sick.

I wonder how long before she sorts out her audio problems. The right side is basically turned off and is only picking up bleed-over from the left. As someone who is completely deaf on the left this is extremely irritating.
