The schools of speckled trout seem to be moving rapidly across a wide area in the last month. Anglers are finding stacked up trout in one area and then they are mostly gone a few days later.
Managing this situation takes some patience and time on plane to find where the school is on your day off. But if you keeping looking you will probably succeed in finding some fish, as we did in this video. Good luck out there.
As a reminder, the Release Over 20 and Pure Flats-Slick Lures trout tournament is coming to Hopedale on Jan. 20, 2024. Registering early will put in a raffle for a $250 rod and a box from Matrix Shad. You can do that by emailing Cliff Hall Jr. at chall@releaseover20.org
I hope to meet you there!
