Northwest Salmon spend most of their lives in the ocean; they travel thousands of miles across wide expanses of the Pacific Ocean. They work with each other in schools, to hunt the food they need to ensure their survival and a return to their home waters. Oregon Salmon have been found as far away from the Central Oregon Coast as Japan…that’s a 5,000 mile journey.
