The main idea of this song is to question all of the bulls**t in our lives that we are afraid to think about. In the line "If I gave you the truth, would it keep you alive?" Shaun is speaking to people who have become disillusioned with the fantasy world created by humans, i.e. Holidays, religions, rampant consumerism. The more you know. Always love Seether.

disclaimer05 I should clarify, as I'm not completely musically illiterate. What I've always wondered is if the notes are the same number of steps apart, and it seems like they are. I just wasn't thinking with my earlier question.

That's fine. Most people who are musical do not understand music from an academic standpoint anyway. Shaun Morgan cannot read music, which is basic, but still writes incredible stuff.

So many memories of playing Halo 3 with my Older Brother come flooding in when ever I hear this song. That’s back when you could play music and a game at the same time. Ah good times good times 😌
