Probably the best experience I've had with characters was watching my sister interacting with Belle and Beast. Two separate encounters yet, by chance she got to meet both! We were at Disneyland for her 16th birthday just last year, and she's a HUGE BatB fan. During one of the parades, Belle came by and noticed my sister with her birthday button and gave her a special birthday wish which already had my sister in tears as it was. Then, the next day, which had been her ACTUAL birthday, after I had told her Beast hardly EVER comes out and he hadn't been listed on the app as a meetable character, we ran into him. She was ABSOLUTELY freaking out! 😂 She had no idea what to say, so I stepped in to help and talk to Beast and translate what he was gesturing and trying to say. But, needless to say, it was THE PERFECT and most AMAZING moment for her on her birthday. ❤

I have been to WDW 6 times since 1971. This summer, we finally splurged on a table service meal. Watching my daughters (aged 6, 17, and 20) parade around Tusker House with Goofy was beautiful. (Okay, I was pretty excited that I got to hang out with Donald, too.)

Great video! Maybe my favorite you've done. My best photo memory was this past summer and one of the infamous Orlando rain showers came through the Magic Kingdom. I only had one umbrella so I gave it to my wife and I got soaked. We went to cover and she was dry but I was soaked and laughing about it when I saw a photographer standing under cover. So I grabbed the umbrella and got her to tale pictures of me dancing in the rain on main Street of the Magic Kingdom! Still my favorite picture from Disney.

I love it when men show their emotions. My husband never shows any emotion whatsoever and it bugs me. I always love it when you tell these stories. The story of the little girl who died right after her photos is one I think of often and I cry every time I think about it. My son and I are making our plans to go to WDW in August and I know that I will absolutely cry my eyes out when I get there after almost losing my life and having to miss my trip in December. Park tickets are purchased and we are looking at getting our airline tickets now. I just remembered that I haven't gotten my money back from the airlines yet, need to go work on that again.

Talk to the airlines and see if, rather than issue a refund, they'll just use that as credit towards your other tickets. Sometimes you can get more from them that way since you're still using them.

Nice video! One of my all time favorite moments was working the Merry Go Round at Kennywood. As you can probably tell I take a lot of pride in both the ride and the band organ and I am always willing to give guests some historical information on it if they ask or I see them checking it out. One day I had a young boy probably about 10 taking videos of the organ playing. Noticing this I went and grab the boxes to the music rolls we were playing for the day and showed them to him and let him take some pictures. He was quiet but I figured he might have been shy. A short time later after he left his mother came through the line and asked me if I had showed her son on the band organ. I replied and she immediately started thanking me. She explained her son had autism and was obsessed with band organs. After I let him take the pictures and check it out in detail he ran to his mother very excited to tell and show her what he say. I’ve had some other similar experiences but that was by far my absolute favorite. Guest interaction can be really rewarding sometimes.

I was shooting Goofy at Epcot and then I left Poto Pass. I went to go see if I could see a character attendet that I got to know pretty well. Goofy though saw me and remembered me which was awesome. I had a Mickey that liked me cause I was a fast photographer. Sorry to saw those are the only things I remember. I can name a few from my days in operations but that would take to much time.

I got an amazing picture with all four of the Akershus princesses and it was amazing since I had so few group and pair photos in the parks. That photo is a wonderfull memory. Pocahontas in Animal Kingdom was wonderfull to and I had pictures with both her and Miko, I think her fur friends name was. But the best was the photo with a Dolphin in Dolphin in Depths experience at EPCOT. Thats so special to me. Johan.

Okay, if I get to go to Disney with the person I've been with for a while, hasn't happened yet, but still, and I'll tell them a million times that my favorite character is Belle. That would be my dream proposal. Have it be done in front of her.

Do people have an actual wedding at Disney?
@SirWillow

oh my goodness yes! They do something like 1000 weddings a year at WDW. There's actually a whole tv series on Disney+ that's all about Disney weddings.
