Dr Luke Fletcher, a trainee who was successful in the last sitting (2021B), discusses what to expect on the day of the viva exam - specifically the logistical changes that were necessary because of the current pandemic:
1) Timing
2) Layout
3) Technology (face to face vs via teleconferencing)
He also discusses the challenges he faced during the viva preparation phase, as well as on the day of the exam. Despite all these challenges, Dr Fletcher passed the exam. I hope you find his story inspiring and also helpful for your journey. Dr Fletcher also gives us an intimate insight of what to expect on the day of the exam and what you need to prepare yourself for.
The charity Dr Fletcher is sponsoring is Beyond Blue who focus on supporting people affected by anxiety, depression and suicide.
