Been using this for a long time. Even then, a refresher course doesn't hurt.

Can we auto design a surface drainage system on sewergems ?
@bentleyopenflows

yes, although the ground elevations are fixed, inlet opening sizes are part of the automated design routine. See: communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/w/hydraulics_and_hydrology__wiki/26823/in-the-inlet-library-what-is-the-design-lengths-used-for

@bentleyopenflows

@@faseel-e-shaaor8842 correct, open channels are not designed with the automated design feature, just the subsurface pipe network and the above-surface gutter network (inlet sizes). See more in the following article and if you need more help, please post on our Community forum. communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/w/hydraulics_and_hydrology__wiki/22833/can-automated-design-size-open-channels

Prakriti, assuming your organization has a license of SewerCAD, you can use the information in the following article to download (typically done by your Site Administrator, but they can provide permissions to download if needed): communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/w/hydraulics_and_hydrology__wiki/8175.downloading-haestad-hydraulics-and-hydrology-software If you do not have a license of SewerCAD, you can contact sales here: www.bentley.com/en/about-us/contact-us/sales-contact-request

If i put the ground level negative , the program give me this error. (Invert elevation (0.00 m) is higher than or equal to rim (or top) elevation(-0.40 m).
@bentleyopenflows
4 жыл бұрын
Hi Pola, the message is telling you that the invert of the element cannot be higher than the ground elevation. If your ground elevation is -0.40 m, then the bottom of the structure (invert) must be below -0.40 m. If this does not help, please post on our forum with more details: communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/f/haestad-hydraulics-and-hydrology-forum

@bentleyopenflows

@@pola2000ful You can adjust the "elevation (invert)" field in the node properties, or use automated design to drop the invert down based on design criteria such as cover. For more questions, please post on our forum (see link in previous reply).

@@pola2000ful you take the ground level copy paste to excel and subtract 1m from all level then insert the result to invert level in flextable
