Thanks so much man, I was very disappointed with this pistol as I’d saved up for a year to buy it but I’ll try and use this method and hopefully it works

I take it you figured it out? Essentially you just have to use abrasive compound and a load of elbow grease on the blowback nozzle so it will be small enough to fit back in the housing.

Heck yeah bud. Glad it's better for us now. I wonder just how proprietary that hop up unit is? Maybe some hop up unit is good to replace it? Or you could take it to a good techie and have them put in a hop up where you just dial in a screw from the top and have it be your hop up adjustment.

Definitely a possibility! The fact it's a fixed barrel means that a TDC mod is a relatively easy modification to make. Drill through the upper receiver, hop housing and straight into the chamber itself and wind a grub screw in and you have a totally controllable and stable hop up system with relatively little trouble. Combine that with a longer, better quality barrel and the fact that this does actually have the ability to fps a heavy weight BB and you could have a proper sniper pistol.

Could you explain how to fix the issue please

Didn't expect a follow up video on this pistol. Who wouldn't their gun to give off that new mint smell after every cycle? XD

You can see the spray of silicone and toothpaste I couldn't get back out of the base of the BBU when it's on full auto. XD Another clean on the cards me thinks haha. She's not a seller now for definite.

Hey for me the rubber always gets stuck and some said it has too weak spring so the nozzle doesn’t get all the way in…Do you have a did for that?

You need one of these my chap. hadronairsoftdesigns.uk/we-galaxy-gbyb-300-nozzle-return-spring/ I believe 'GBYB' stands for 'get back ya bitch' 😂 The standard nozzle spring on a Galaxy is awful and has no place being there whatsoever.

I need to do this to my pistol, would you recommend toothpaste? Also how did you clean the toothpaste off or did it stay on there?
@MrLilredmachine

Hey there, I wouldn't recommend toothpaste as such, it's just the only abrasive compound I had lying around haha. Any sort of abrasive compound can be used, like polish (car etc.) it will always be a nightmare to clean up.

That hop is just awful. What were they thinking? Surely a spring can be moved as BB pass through. The spring looked like it fell out of a cheap pen.

Yeah, it's not the best. In a battle of .28bb, wound down hop and one springy boi, the hard plastic BB is just gonna lift the hop up arm on the way through.

Hi, i just ordered one, if i get the same problem, what kind of "rubbingsolution" should i use? thanks for the video, greetings, Levi from Sweden
@MrLilredmachine

Hi Levi, I used toothpaste as it was what I had available, however any abrasive paste such as rubbing compound or metal polish would have the same effect.

@@MrLilredmachine can use silicone oil sir?
@MrLilredmachine
3 жыл бұрын
@@encikbob you can use silicone oil to lube the gun as with all Airsoft weapons. If yours has clearance and cycling issues like mine did you need to use an abrasive compound to assist break in, or manually break the gun in like I did in this video. Silicone oil will slow this process down.

great vid... was just wondering why not just replace the nozzle return spring?
@MrLilredmachine
3 жыл бұрын
I should have mentioned this in the video but forgot. The Galaxy is more like a WE open bolt rifle than it is a conventional GBB pistol, and uses an extension spring to return the nozzle, not a compression spring. As such, it's not just a case of lobbing a G series/Hicapa spring in it to fix the problem.
