Chris you remind me of the older generation of operators, like my dad and our old boss who lost his life on a dozer.every move is premeditated and calculated, try not to move dirt twice. You know it saves the under carriage. It's hard to make money with those things. But you are an awesome operator.

Hi from uk chris👋👍 I can honestly say this job is going to look really well once finished with the waterfall at back of dam 👌 thats one good use of water thats overspill from pond!👍 and pleased the viewers who wanted you to sink dozer got there request sort of 👍 dozer is now in the pond (""just the dryer bit of it thats all"") 😂😂 the amount of comments whete unreal about putting dozer in the deep end when was soup🤔😂 you are best at what you do cos you know what your doin 👌good job magic man another project nearly completed👌 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋

Looking good! Gotta be happy now that you're finally reaching the other end. That head section was a booger!!! Despite the super-mud-challenge, you perservered, and it's looking sooooooo much better now. This one gets the 6-figure dock? It'll go great with the finished pond. No need to hang chandeliers in a haunted house, is there?

What a difference a few weeks make! When Chris first started at the very far end! That sloppy goopy muddy mess! And now to actually see dust coming off the bucket with each load of dry clay dumped in the haul truck! I bet you thought this day would never get here! Fantastic job as always Mr. Chris! And John! Now I know what needs to be built for your mud dredging work - an Everglades mud buggy with a digging arm like a backhoe attachment. Continuing to show improvement - slope on shoreline is better that shear edge.

I know you’re probably getting tired of dredging on this pond but since you’ve dredged it this far they should have you do the whole pond. It doesn’t look like the pond will be very deep on the un-dredged part. Then again I’m not the one paying.

Well Chris I can see why you still enjoy your job after all this time watching you.....It doesn`t matter how much you love doing a certain thing even that can get monotonous like going from excavation for a few hours then going to dozer for a few hours it just helps you mentally and physically in a day not doing the same thing day in day out boredom is a life and job killer......Great video has always LD18

I wonder if you could work with a local college to design better mats. There is high impact plastic dunnage used for transport of heavy loads. They could make a wooden mat and a plastic one to compare durability. This would be a great project for mechanical and design engineers.

good thought, they recycle car tires and use the recovered materials to make mats for cow stalls. My concern with your suggestion is would a local college have the equipment to make a full size mock out of plastic, I would not imagine they would or a 3D printing company.

Hey Shawn, I have thought for a long time the mats they use are poorly designed and made of junk material in the first place. There are too few rods holding them together and they don't seem to last very long. I agree with the fellow who suggested asking Logger Wade's family to make a few prototypes for Chris to try out.

The way technology is going, by the time they fetch it out of there nobody will even know what a flash drive is or have the means to get the info off of it! 😁. It’s only been about 35 years and cassette tapes, VHS and CD’s are already about obsolete. Crazy times!

Shoreline gets rebuilt, weeds scraped off, the pond gains a couple of feet of depth & the good clay is exposed for extraction. Multiple win.

Basically a narration of what a shore line is, what it provides, how to integrate it into his overall plan. If that's do-able?

I was watching this video and then I heard a loud bang in front of the house. This moron forgot to tie down his load coming out of this furniture warehouse and he lost 3 cabinets and a couple of beds. I ran over to the warehouse where they came and helped chuck everything in the trash bin.:-)

I’m curious about dozer technics, I see sometimes that they take a relatively deep cut but only a narrow slice and push to some boundary and other times just a thin cut in depth across the whole blade and do it several times to achieve the full depth. What drives the difference?

All depends on the shape you're trying to create and the amount of dirt you're trying to move, usually when you see an operator who isn't making contact with the full blade he's trimming an uneven spot in the grade. There's a difference too between hogging dirt and fine grading for a finish. - An operator
