My approach to budo in my many years of studies is an approach to the principle concept of budo not just the traditional physical approach. The ninjutsu concepts leaves room for innovation, creativity and adaption without leaving sight of tradition.Remember ninjutsu's origin coming from Chinese influence.I believe in the ninjutsu concept of unorthodoxy and awkwardness. The Great Bushi Masters were innovators,I choose to follow the path of the masters. The source of all knowledge come GODTheknower.

None of our schools are sketchy. The techniques are sharp and speak for themselves. While you go on about lineage we're busy training and helping people be able to effectively defend themselves. Your lineage wont help you on the streets. No lies abound, the truth is proven on the mat, while opponents stay lying down.

When conducting a seminar I try to gage the participant to determine what is suitable and comprehensive. There are many Budokas present with good skills,so I come with the humble attitude to share not necessary to teach. If your trying to figure out my method of approach and it seem confusing to you, than I have achieved my objective because that is the DO of Shinobi No Jutsu,PEACE!

What percentage of your curriculum is devoted to knife proficiency? Do you have an affiliate school in Baltimore?

Students of mine have survive guns, multiple attacks and knife attacks, they (students) are a testimony to our methods of approach to our Budo training. I'm not concern with any non productive and egotistical criticism.

Good demonstration, but this is aikido/aikijutsu. The truth does speak on the mat, and aikido is what's being shown. Some of it is halfway decent aikido though. Typical entering, cirling, and reversal of direction with different gyaku te waza. The point about the opponent turning toward you and leaving openings reminds me of Gyokko Ryu, but it is not Ninjutsu guys. Good stuff to study though. Thanks for posting!

With all due respect budofist, there are thousands of methods of disarming knives, this is just one out of many approaches.I not so naive to think that one methods can use for all knife attacks. A Budoka adapts and adjust whenever necessary to thwart off an attack. I've personally used this method to disarm an opponent. Kali fighters are extremely skillful knife fighters but no one is invincible where they can't be defeated, or we all would be learning Kali. My students are well trained.
