Ms Wheeler's surprise about those of us who love what we did doesn't surprise me. I was an electrician, I ran conduit, pulled the wire, hung fixtures, moved swithgear and fixed what stopped working. I always loved it, not always the people I did it for or the weather I had to do it in. I feel so sorry for people who go to work at a job they hate, it must be a terrible thing. I know so many other construction workers who feel like me, we get instant gradification doing what I did. Arthritis stopped me but until then I wanted to do my job. I really liked all three and the picker that Ms Mattea brought with her was amazing.

This is pure gold. Kathy’s guitarist/musical partner is Bill Cooley, a genius at picking as well as composing and arranging, and being a fine human.

Dude, you're spot-on! Not just "too good to let fade", but this is an exceptional session. Not that she personally gives a shit but Cheryl Wheeler never received near the praise she, her voice, and her work deserve. Unfortunately there's very little live video out there. Anyway, awesome set. Thanks for realizing it.

I've heard Kathy sing this a thousand times, in concerts, on videos, on her CDs, but this is one of the best versions. Thank you.

This is my favorite performance of Ready for the storm by Kathy...her passion, a lilttle rhaspiness in her voice. Both guitars sounding fantastic! Her version with the Transatlantic sessions is a close second

I wonder why the others didn't join Kathy on the chorus of "Ready for the Storm.' It sounds better with more than one on the chorus.
