Hi Friends! After coming back from China, I am already missing the spicy hot food from my hometown Chengdu and that's why I'm making hot pot fish!! This dish is spicy hot and it comes with a pot of different ingredients you can add such as noodles, veggies, fish balls etc. It's like having hot pot but already made! We top the dish with dry chili and Sichuan peppercorn to finish it off! The spicy and numbing flavor is exactly what a Sichuan dish stands for!

Ingredients:
1 lb Tilapia
Salt for marinate (1/4 tsp)
Corn starch for marinate (1 tbsp)
Shaoxing wine (1 tbsp)
1 egg white
Aromatics
2 garlic clove
1 ginger
2 green onion
1 pickled mustard greens
Other ingredients
4-5 fish balls
1 celtuce
1 lotus root
1 yam noodles
2 jalapeño pepper
Soup:
1 piece hot pot base
2 tsp cooking oil
2 tsp Sichuan Peppercorn
1.5 tbsp Sichuan chili bean paste (Doubanjiang)
2 cup stock (or water)
Garnish
dry chili
Sichuan peppercorn
oil 2 tbsp
green onion
cilantro
