Love the idea. I have never been to Italy, although it is on my wish list. I think the chocolate or coffee, or even both together, might make a nice alternative to Christmas pudding (which I hate) with our Christmas meal. 🤗

I love this! Perfect homemade sweet snack for my 2 young boys without worrying about them eating all the chemicals in store-bought dessert. I just purchased your cookbook and I'm so excited! I am very grateful for your channel. I grew up eating Italian foods all my life but through an ancestry DNA test learned I am majority sicilian- I have enjoyed so much going through each video and making new recipes for myself and husband and children. Thank you so much! you can make a granita di mandorla by using equal amounts of ORZATA and milk. Orzata is an almond syrup which is added to water or club soda to make a refreshing summer drink. You can find it in any Italian grocery store.

I make a light syrup with 1 part sugar and 2 parts water, but you can also make a heavy syrup with equal parts of sugar and water. Mix the sugar and water, bring to the boil, lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, cool to room temperature, and keep in the refrigerator until ready to use.
