Just as clarification: I was alluding to the fact that crossfit is a game of work capacity where as other sports I.e. rugby, basketball, football are games of reactionary stimulus based off of a predetermined skillset. Olympic sports are similar. we know the test and we know when it will be. HOWEVER, when talking about olympic sport, it is the REFINERY of the skillset and the athletes capacity to build off of that which creates the difficulty and allure. It is such a needle point of refinement that isn't, and quite frankly, can't be reproduced in crossfit. CROSSFIT IS DIFFICULT in that it's a test of who can kill themselves with work the fastest. IT IS NOT DIFFICULT in that it doesn't involve refined reactionary stimulus and predetermined skill (rugby, basketball, football, etc.) AND it doesn't involve deep and thorough refinery in very select non reactive skills (olympic sports).

No need to explain yourself. Everyone who has watched the OG podcast knows exactly what you mean. And those that don't are too dense to take in what you have just said.

Love your channel. Need to add Pro level Outdoor Motocross!!! It is the hardest. Requires Balls, skills, talent, training, 35 minutes of nonstop full out x 2 races a day, plus practice laps. Basketball football soccer...they all get a lot of breaks and time outs.

Question: I see people who only run or cycle and have really jacked legs and people who only run or cycle and don't have at all jacked legs. Why is this?

So you could have past training playing a role and the cycling is keeping the size well but if that's not the case then it's literally just genetics. Running or cycling is high volume and for some it's enough. Of course we shouldn't confuse lots of muscle with high strength so it's likely these individuals wouldn't have much strength but they would have the potential due to the high muscle mass

I cycle about 150 to 300 miles a week depending on the time of year. Many people ask about my leg development. A combo of genetics and focused/strategic workouts to exploit those genetics. High protein diet and moderate to high carbs. Also a good amount of supplements. Creatine, whey, coq10, vit C, DHEA, omegas etc. Clean diet with about 2 "cheat" meals per week. Most important factor... consistency.

his dumbed down yelling is a gimmick of his new post-wl "fitness influencer" KZitem persona. He noticed that he gets more clicks that way. It's a shame because I think his true self is very different and his older videos are much richer in content.
