Yes, I finally found this granny square…I saw it in Doris’s project (Rose Cottage Studio). I was donated a hook and small balls of yarn, as a beginner was so happy but I learned I need multiple skeins of the same color yarn for a project😁. But I’m so happy I can make these granny squares..I made 2 squares already…thank you! Love your way of teaching so I just subscribed…thanks for sharing the knowledge🙏🏻

I am new to crochet- only 2 yrs in (compared to my knitting yrs) I LOVE to learn new patterns and stitches- and love your STITCH of the WEEK- and have DL several vids ..I just finished a big arghan (48X58in) and looking for something FUN- EZ- that I can create & assemble in sizable squares- Love that this is 6X6in,, I have a LOT of pastel colors and will be making a LOT of these Squares..I was always hesitant to try the Granny Sq because I could not do a "ring" but its just a basic circle..TY for your EZ design and great tutorial.I love to CAL by video.💚💚 The blue design- makes it look like a poinsettia design- could see this for Xmas (red, white, green) - Plus I have Fall colors - Caron Simply Soft in Pumpkin, yellow, Brown tweed- and Mojave ( its a multi- brown- pumpkin-cream). I would love to turn them into a Granny Fall blanket..💚Thanlk you for givng this New Granny happy Inspiration! 💚💚💚

In written form so I don't forget (I've never written out a pattern before, sorry if it's confusing): Ch: Chain Sl St: Slip Stich Dc: Double Crochet Tr: Treble/Triple Crochet Ch 4 and Sl St into the first st (Or magic circle) Round 1 - Ch 3 (Dc into the middle)*11. Sl St into the 3rd Ch and fasten off (12) Round 2 - With the new colour, Sl St into a st. Puff stitch: Ch 3 and Tr 2. (Puff stitch: Tr 3)*11. Sl St into the 3rd Ch and fasten off (12 puffs) Round 3 - With the new colour, Sl St into a space between two puff stitches. Ch 4 Tr 2 Ch 2 Tr 3. Dc 3 in the next two spaces. Tr 3 Ch 2 Tr 3 for a corner. Repeat until done. Sl St into the 4th Ch. If stopping here, Ch 1 and fasten off. If continuing, Ch 1 and flip the square, and repeat Round 3. Tricia, you can make it with a ch-1 or without, I like smaller holes that is why I do not ch-1. I am making an afghan with this block and will be posting how to join the blocks and put the border on. I should have it done by hopefully this next week-end.
