Recently found your channel. New favorite for learning. I’ve been trying to sing for the past 7 years...always stuck in a rut. You’re videos seem to be the only thing that might be giving a breakthrough. Thanks my dude. Keep up the good work

I guess we have to get rid of the idea that others can pass on us germs. This is a huge change of mindset (word I've learned from this channel) especially in this worldwide situation. It mostly depends on our environment, when the inmune system is working properly, it is very difficult or even impossible that others infect us. This has also a huge impact on the spiritual level. Thanks Chris.

Not only is this good for singing, but its also a form of meditation! I used to do this just to soothe myself during stressful times. I never thought it would apply to singing for some reason.

Chris, your info is so beneficial! You are exactly what I've been looking for for such a long time. I'm a singer/songwriter as well, and it is refreshing to see a musician of your caliber give back to the community in such a positive way. I look forward to each new video because I always seem to learn something new. Thank you!

I have a show this Thursday and I have a slight cold. Going to try it as a pre-warmup. I feel like I could use it anyways as a reminder for my body not to lose control while singing, even when I'm not sick. Heck, I'll do it daily because I don't always have time to practice and/or a space to make some noise! One thing I found out with this exercise is that I may have to sing those notes on a more steady tone, so I can get on my upper range and warm up the passaggio.

I had a flu and now I have a dry soar throat I cannot do high notes because of it. However it is a soar throat from the cold weather. Usually I have no problem with it but right now it's just not working. So my vocals are covered in gunk Doing your tutorial here for a few days thank you Chris

Dear Chris, fantastic your way to clarify us, I'm from Brazil. Just saw yours videos yesterday and is amazing. I'have one doubt, when I started 5 years ago, i used a lot of pressure, now I'm reducing, however I believe needs less . When you use microphone we can not feel the diference, my point is, could you think in prepare one video about it? How to adjust the volume in the microphone to avoid put more pressure, and lose freedom. Thanks a lot, fantastic, I'm your follower now!!!

You should see his tribute video to Chris Cornell. Definitely a good cover/alternate arrangement to 'The Day I Tried To Live' :) @Chris, I'm looking forward to hearing you sing some Alice In Chains classics. Like Cornell, Staley had a unique sound that I really love.
