Man, I think about this all the time. My parents were teenagers in the 80s and even just for a day I wish I could live in sometime in the 1980s, I'm 17 so I often wonder how my life would be like at that age in, say, 1986. The closest I have to the 80s is music and movies, but that obviously doesn't compare to the real thing.

The timing belt changes along with balance belt WITH idler bearing changes are mandatory to keep the engine from losing time and bending the valves.Every 33.000 miles is pretty much the rule.I love the 50-50 weight distribution to each wheel. These cars are great on the curves. Only breakdown I had was when my starter solenoid went out while shopping. It gave me warnings that I ignored. Great Saturday night machines! The last song “If You Were Here” by Thompson Twins is pure magic and sounds perfect for the ending but the lyrics don’t fit the ending at all. The song fits more between Jake and Caroline as their relationship falls apart by the end of the movie “If you were here, I could deceive you. If you were here you would believe. Or would you suspect my emotion wondering. Do not want a part of this anymore” - it’s a song about loss of love and drifting apart
