That was great to watch. I love the way you featured each b u r r, as you change them. That was such a great feature in this video . This is so helpful for most beginner wood Carvers. Many of the wood carving videos I have watched on KZitem, do not take that extra step, leaving us wondering what b u r r was that? I wonder and Hope you will do this for all your wood carving videos . Thanks and best wishes.

Hello what kind of wood did you use for this awesome carving. You make it look so easy , I would love to try this out thank you

Cheers. The wood I used is macrocarpa (softish wood) which is a new zealand wood. It's equivalent in hardness wood be cedar or bass wood. Could use pine also or any softish woods. Harder woulds can be used it just is harder and takes longer to carve. Good luck 👍

Hi love your work . Can you help me get a set up for carving that takes the burrs you are using as the smallest burrs are 1/8 in size

I keep things pretty simple in my carving set up, I just use the Dremel 4000 which takes 1/8th burrs. Cheers for watching

Hi Matt!! New here 😊 So I was wondering do these burrs fit any rotary tool?
@MattCarves
Жыл бұрын
Hi Millie, I use a dremel 4000 and with them the most common sized burr is 1/8 inch shaft size, which is the size of the burrs I am using in that video. If your rotary tool takes 1/8 inch burrs you should be fine. here is the Affilate link for kutzall KUTZALL BURRS AND DISCS 5% Discount Use the code (Case sensitive)- MATTCARVES website: kutzall.com?aff=70
