Can I do this in nylon synthetic cork ? As there are feathers hardly we do a slice drop shots there by hitting slowly in tip

I don't play at a competitive level. Just love playing it. Feathers being expensive & less durable pushes the general public towards plastics. I have seen a frnd successfully hitting this slice smash but it was like 1 out of 10 attempts.

90% of the time the return would be a lift down the line, so after the shot, you usually prepare for an overhead smash
