Cheers Jim. Yere that's why I try to learn all the time. To keep the work coming in. It's hard work sticking to one trade on domestic. When I first left the sites. I was doing my own bricklaying jobs. Then delivering yellow pages phone books and free papers. To make my wages up lol till I learn a few more trades lol👍👍👍

Hi Andy cheers mate. Yes I am going to have to do some more detail videos. We had a few jobs to do at this house. So every min I had spair was doing the other jobs.so recording was tricky. I do have another vid coming In the same house will try and get in on in a few days. Bit of damp proof.👍👍👍👍

Hi yes something I forgot to put in video.we got lucky on this one the main stack is right behind the wall out side of house .so we drilled out side and coupled straight into that one 👍👍

Great video, We're looking to install a downstairs toilet. In this job did you run the toilet pipes etc from the upstairs toilet? Or did you have to install separate waste piping?

I really am in need a downstairs loo, but my husband who is a bit of a builder tells me that I can't due to the fact that there is no where for the waste to go. I feel sure that there are ways. If you have any advice I would be very grateful

Hi Susan. If you have no waste near by. You have two choices you could get the builders to fit a new drain witch could lead to a lot of digging. Or there is a toilet called a saniflo. It grindes up waste to go into a small pipe and pumps it to were you need it. You can also fit a sink to it. I have not installed one my self but know of a few people that's got them and think they are grate. It's called a saniflo toilet. Hope this helps👍

Hi Jack. When I left the big sites bricklaying. I found it hard to get jobs just bricklaying. So I got with a landlord who had a lot of houses. Doing them up. I didn't charge much as I was learning my self to do other things so he was happy and I was happy too. And I still learning today. Lol it never stops 😂👍👍👍

If I had to guess think it was 1m x 1.7m. To be fair if you can shut the door and sit on the toilet you are good 👍👍

@@markhep my mate is a tiler and told me when using wall plugs , to push the plug in past the tile because when screw is screwed in the expansion of the plug could crack the tile,

@@paulperrin2152 yere you can do that definitely. I like the plug on the tile as well if it's not near the edge for extra grip. But yere definitely if it near edge of tile. You could crack it 👍

I’ve done many wall tile jobs using dab method and never had any problems. Just need to ideally make sure the adhesive pushes out into the four corners to protect them from cracking if someone drills into them, and put adequate number of dabs on each tile. But the other method of notch trowel is good too.
