I try not to disturb people when I hunt. I often hunt near where folks live, so I use low-powered cartridges. I like the .357 magnum for close-range shooting and my reloaded cartridges travel slower than the speed of sound so they don't travel as far as full-power loads. To keep things a bit quieter I bought a small muzzle-forward suppressor from Waitaki Engineering. It is well-made, and it fits perfectly. It makes my Bergara rifle a bit more pleasant to shoot. I recorded this video on my iPhone, and I'm not sure that the phone "hears" gunshots like people do. But it does give an idea of what the rig sounds like. Best wishes.
