When you did the comparison several of us made the suggestion to try smash burgers with grill grates...Thanks for listening to feedback and producing another fine video. P.S. You can cook the bacon on them too😁

Kenny Baumann I don’t have the grill grates dialed in enough to make bacon on it yet. I like to make bacon at at medium to medium low heat. I have all sorts of things written down that subscribers have suggested. The smash burger was a fine suggestion, thanks. Thanks for the support and watching.

Nice cook! I’ve got those grill grates that fit the 22” Weber - basically covers the entire stock grate. Gotta try turning ‘em over and making some smash burgers. I like the wooster sauce idea. Need me some mustard and pickles on that burger though! Nice job brother....

Bamakettles yeah the smooth side works really well, however mustard and pickles do not. Lol. Both absolutely disgust me, especially pickles. Thanks for the support and watching

This is how I love cooking. Even though you make mistakes along the way (like olive oil in your case) you just keep going because you know your burger is gonna be stellar in the end.

Looks good but those are not Smash burgers, they weren't smashed enough on the grill so they ended up looking like normal patties at the end

La Croix they were super flat. High heat on a burger will make them bow up, maybe that’s why it appeared that way, but they were definitely flat. If I smash them anymore they would have been a lattice burger. Thanks for the support and watching,

Others are using griddles for their smashed burgers. I don't have a griddle, so I was wondering about using my Weber Kettle with my GrillGrates. I actually have the GGS for my Go Anywhere Grill, but also use them on the Kettle Grill. Thanks for doing this video. Will be doing this soon. Ron

I need to get a grill grate. Those looked amazing! Have you tried bacon jam mixed with mayo? Theres a brand called "better than good ". Its amazing!

Martin Morales I should have used grapeseed oil or avocado oil because they have a high smoke point, and there would’ve been all that smoke. Clarified butter also works good as well. Thanks for watching it support

Big O K make my bacon at a medium to medium low heat, it takes. Little bit longer however the bacon tends to not curl up. Thanks for the support and watching.

Another epic video from you, I did a comparison of the true-wave also pretty interesting results I felt Thank you for letting me know about this product in your original video I've been meaning to try smashburgers on my grill grates I was always afraid of the meat getting stuck between the holes and the flat side seem like a great process for you so now I'm going to try it

Chris my Suave brother that Burger looks absolutely mouthwatering I definitely eat a couple of those. I did Smash Burgers for the first time couple weeks ago and they tasted awesome. BBQ PIT DOG The olive oil has a low smoke point so it didn’t look good on camera smoking the way it did I like olive oil too, however with high heat and flames it smokes really bad. Thanks for the support and watching brother.

@@meatcranium4280 I go low and slow all the time. I just place my GrillGrate to one side and my charcoal on the other. I slide the grate closer to the fire as needed. I know you will figure it out.
