Tommy, awesome video. This recipe is simple and easy to do. I’m going to get the 1050 plus I want to do the firebox Mod in stainless before. I even season the grill. If it is any help to you I can order through your links for both the 1050 and the firebox Mod. Please let me know if that helps and make sure I have the links. Keep the videos coming they are very helpful.....Thanks again.......Bob

Robert I truly appreciate you thinking about me. I have no hand in that firebox mod or the 1050. I did the Mod vid as a favor. I've got some scattered affiliate links in the description that helps the show. That said. You watching and commenting is plenty help to the show. Bob, Thanks buddy and Enjoy!

Gentlemen, I did the fire box mod before I season the grill for the first time. I think it was a great mod to make right at the beginning. I plan on making a few more simple mods and I expect this thing to last forever. I love the Masterbuilt 560! Hey, Tommy, keep rocking it man!

is the 1050 too big just for one chicken? (or even two). you've made 14lb briskets on the 560. are you just wasting more charcoal with the bigger grill?

Hi Bruce. My inkbird quick check is tuned up perfect in Temp checks. When I use the masterbuilt probe, sometimes it's hard to tell on which part of the meat your sticking, how far in. So to pull that probe out and check other parts wouldn't be smart. after all, Its hot. Hence why I check in a few different spots with my inkbird. Thanks for the question.
