Fantastic, concise yet informative tutorial. I so appreciate you starting with the ‘wrong’ way then showing us the correct way. Quickest but most informative tutorial I have seen and easily understood. I’ve subscribed 🙏

Thanks for sharing your technique for smooth skin! Very useful. Could you maybe do a tutorial on how you would make a white flower look white on white paper using polychromos pencils? I’m working on a flower arrangement with mostly white flowers with hints of fucsia and am having trouble making the petals look uniform! Thank you again!

oh yes white petals can be tricky, they are rarely white so it's worth really looking closely and seeing what other colours you can see, normally lots of greys either warm or cold depending on your reference. As you said you can also sometimes see violets, reds and yellows too. I'll see what I can do for you!

Hi Bonnita, what is the colormix for this exact skin tone? is this grey as first base? I have gone to the link of your skin tones, but they don't have grey as undertone? thank you so much
@BonnitaDoodles

My colours honestly vary depending on the subject and reference so not all have a grey undertone. The easiest way to work it out is always work from your lightest colour to your darkest x

@@BonnitaDoodles yes i know, but i'm curious when u use a grey witch one u use? cool grey, warm grey? what numbers do you use specific in this video, i like the total skin color. grey, light flesh, medium flesh, ...? thank you for the lovely video's i learn a lot. I'm not working from a reference, don't draw portraits. it's more for in coloringbooks.

Depending on your reference or if it's cold or warm, my go-to colours are paynes grey, dark indigo, Pablo violet, or caput mortem violet
