Smothered Cabbage
Directions
1 large head of cabbage, chopped chucky
1 medium diced onion
2 sliced carrots
1 medium green bell pepper thinly sliced
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon granulated onion
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon sugar

1 large skillet
Measuring spoons
Directions
1. In large skillet, add oil heat on medium high heat.
2. Add onion, carrots, bell pepper and cabbage in skillet.
3. Stir well tell well blended. Add top to lid to skillet, that's why it is called "smothered".
4. Add dry seasonings, cook 3 to 5 minutes. Note: Cabbage will be tender but still a little chuchy
Serving Suggestions: Serve this cabbage with Chef Rene's vegan red beans and rice with a piece of our hot water cornbread. The recipe is on my KZitem channel.
