UPDATE!! ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS ANSWERED FROM SMULE: I asked several questions about my uncertainties and here is what Smule support answered: 1. Is there any benefit of putting a first & last name, and phone number in the account settings? I've never done it.... Answer: Adding your first and last names is not mandatory, and doesn't bring about any benefits, other than perhaps that if you ever lose access to your account and need our help logging back in, you might have an easier time proving your ownership of it if you have added your names. 2. Where are language preferences on the new layout? Answer: This is usually tied to your device's language settings. As long as we support the language you've set for your device, it will also be the language of your Smule app. (So it's now gone in new layout) 3. What types of emails do you get under the email settings on notifications? Answer: If you have enabled Email Updates through the Settings menu, then we may send you marketing emails about our products, other app/service/account updates, or otherwise information that you might find useful. 4. Did you get rid of the 'contacts' sync option under privacy on the new layout? Answer: Yes. There is no in-app option to sync your contacts at this time. 5. Where are all the places you can see someone's online status? I've seen a little dot in messages if someone is on, but is there other places? Answer: The online status will show up in the Messages centre only, and only if the user has their "Show My Online Status" and "Show Chat Activity Status" options switched on 6. Is the option to Send Diagnostics only on Apple devices? Answer: The "Send Diagnostics" option is indeed currently only available on iOS devices. 7. Is the option to clear the cache only on Apple devices? Answer: Yes, the option to clear the cache built into the Smule app is also available on iOS only, as Android devices have their own ways of clearing app caches.

I am having zero success with duets and groups. If I do a duet with myself, both tracks are present when I review the song. But, when i click continue to save the duet, it doesn't. No matter what I do, the only track that saves is the first one I laid down. And a group sing...no luck. I made it work before my changing settings in the lesser audio switch; but I can't seem to reproduce that either and so group collabs also just play the original track I laid down, no matter how may times I record other parts again, they just don't save. This is so frustrating. :(

I'm confused. Are you saving one track, and then saying when you attempt to do another track after - it doesn't save? I'm also not sure what you mean by changing settings in the lesser audio switch - not sure what that it?

What do you mean by 'Studio' settings? Do you mean Super Studio audio filter?
