Thanks for posting just watching the way you put the side on the cue ball has helped my game because I used to get confused on what side to put on the different shots so I play better cheers!! 😄

If only I could pot like that. The pockets on the table I play on are obviously broken! Great lesson, thanks.

You can though. It just takes practice and a passion for the game. I never had any natural talent but I just kept at it. Some of my newer headcam videos are of a much higher quality. Thanks for watching :)

Beautiful clearance. I would love to play snooker but unfortunately in Greece you can't find snooker tables, only 9ball and 3 cushion.

Nice break! I was thinking the pink was too wide when you were lining up to it. But shot happens. Great skills. I learnt a lot about spin from these shots. Would be amazing to flash up a white call graphic with a red dot to show where exactly you hit
@bottlecap57

+John Cooper Thanks. Yeah, looking at the pink again I was a bit wide on it but without the kick on the blue it would have been a lot easier. Not really sure what a white call graphic is. However I did use a laser in the past to show potting angles. Cheers

The Snookerist my guess is it's an auto corrected "white ball" graphic?
@topneorej

In my opinion a kick occurs when the cue decelerates (due to tension) on inpact, making the white ball leave the table for a moment. Try to find moments on TV where a kick occurs when a player has already won the frame and there is no century, high break, or 147 at stake. His arm completely relaxes and the chance of 'kicking' are very low. And then compare it to the moments where a kick happens when a player is almost over the finish-line. Just my theory.

Really enjoyed watching this, nice idea with the head cam! Unfortunate to get the kick but great century nonetheless!

Great break!, think cueing down with the rest hopped the white, causing it to skip across the baize, need an ultra slow motion to see the shadow though..

Thanks Bat :) Was just an ordinary miss on the pink though. Kick on the blue robbed me of the clearance.

Oh right, cool bottle:)..thumbnail had me waiting for a kick on the pink (thought I was imagining things), my bad...lols.. I'll have to rewatch it for the pesky blue... great vids, very clinical clearances, very impressive!.. subbed..

EyeAmBatman Ah yes @ 9:02 cueball came off really slow & white left the baize before contact, there was also another heavy contact on the blue at 7:21... think the blue was being tempermental lol... maybe a humidity control setup would help...

+The Snookerist What causes a kick?
@bottlecap57
8 жыл бұрын
+baiz Some say its caused by chalk dust on the balls. Others say its caused by static electricity. I think the first opinion is the more likely answer

A snooker ball is never perfectly smooth and when two ridges hit each other it can cause a kick.
@topneorej
8 жыл бұрын
+The Snookerist It can't be the first, since there are several kicks been played just after the white ball was cleaned by the ref.
@Mollari42

What about the chalk from the strike on the actual shot...think about it :-)
@demonoid1024

Static on the ball/To much chalk, should have had the cue-ball cleaned, shot played previously did not play as expected (kick), wasn't going to play next shot as expected..If in doubt have it cleaned. Excellent vid.

why do you always aim at right hand side or is it just a camera view?

You're potting is insane, just need to concentrate on position, need to think ahead, looks like your potting and then thinking about the next shot
