I definitely want to be there, I love snow. Wish west Germany has more of it!

Great Stuff, thanks for posting, 1/3 or our roads are gravel in Michigan, we race, and ride on gravel in winter, once the cars pack the snow down its great, I use 700x42 Specialized Sawtooth tires, they grip great, I think they are made of Octopi,, :) (no studs needed) they grip great on snow packed by cars, not ice.. I ride a fat bike on the trails, but I get many more miles on the gravel bike in winter time..I get up to 30 mph on gravel, and I have swerved around fallen bikes on uphills during races.. Sawtooth are cheap, tubeless ready, and they work..Happy Trails..

I'm hoping to get a Fatbike or MTB at some point. I see quite a few riders on MTBs going in and out of the forest, and it looks fun. I did hire a fat bike in Lapland, and they seem to roll over anything. Going through deep snow was quite an effort though.

How fast were you comfortable going? What PSI were you running? Were you slipping at all? This is cool!

About 30PSI. The studs are surprisingly grippy, so when they slip, they tend to grab quickly. I’m old and more cautious, but my son throws the bike around. Average speed was around 20kph. It’s quite up and down and the climbs are slow. On a flat compressed section it’s not difficult to get up to nearly 40kph.

I love riding in the snow on my MTB. What tyres do you use on your gravel? But to be honest, your sound is awful
