Just want to say that I love your videos man. Most snowboard videos are all so damn loud and almost screaming. But you… you just talk in such a calm and soothing voice which makes me really enjoy watching these even though I already know how to strap in. Also the music fits so well with the vibe.

I'm learning this season, I went 6 times, but last time wasn't that great. It was like I had forgotten what I had learned so far. But now I found your videos and feel more confident again!! Ready to try the S turns and getting up by myself! Thanks!

I’ve taught so many people to ride and I never let them sit down. They learn to make a wedge and to strap in standing up. They’re pretty good by the end of the day and they never know any different.

Love these videos. My wife and I took our third trip snowboarding recently. WE have watched your videos multiple times before going and we are making S turns and pretty comfortable on our toes. I hope I can stand and get my bindings done up soon but my toe strap is so maxed out I might be sitting down always. (I wear a size 16 boot 😂) anyway man thanks for the videos. I really like your channel. You tell us simple things but it’s very educational to us and I’m sure others without being condescending at all. 10/10. Hope everyone trying to learn can find you.

Thank you very much Riley for the great feedback. It's much appreciated. Congrats to you and your wife on making the progression to S turns. And wow size 16 boot!? Wowzers! Maybe look into adjusting that toe strap or see if you can get larger ones? Thanks again for the great feedback Riley and I hope you and your wife have fun out there! 🏂

@@stevantures you’re very welcome man! Also thanks man! It’s been dang fun! I found some bigger toe straps. Don’t love them though yet... hopefully I can find some better ones they barely fit over my toes like they’re supposed to! They’re getting the job done tho! Headed back up to the mountain right now.

Hey Steve :D i finally went on my snowboarding trip and it was awesome. i fell at least 30 times but only took a toll on me in 2. i went down one of their steepest mountains and it was fun and i could switch from right foot going down the mountain to left quite easily and carve, i had someone from my group show me how it really is on the slopes. my first trying to trap up was terrible but other than that it was fun. i have 2 questions cuz im going in feb. so basically do you put your most dominant in first? because i felt comfortable with both and the left side did better for me, and 2nd is it normal for your core to be hurt a couple days after? Thanks!
@stevantures

Awesome! Glad you had a great trip and you made progress. As far as which foot to put in first I tend to put my front foot in first and then my back when I get off the chairlift. You just need to figure out which foot you prefer to have leading. And if your core hurts that's probably because you picked yourself up 30+ times. That's a lot of strain on the core and arms. Have a great trip in February! 🏂

@@piercem90 You can look into the step on boots and bindings that are out there. Pricey but if time is what you're trying to save after unloading the chairlift then those might be your solution. Good luck and have fun! 🏂
