I’ve gotten rid of all social media other than KZitem (which is not what I call regular social media)…just bought several acres in the mountains near a hole-in-the-wall town in CO, and aim to slowly build a retirement cabin over the years…disconnected, surrounded by trees and nature; that’s what I call the good life. Cheers!

I have that coffee maker. The handle does not handle heat well. I find that opening the lid while pouring makes less of a mess. I use the same amount of coffee but also heat some water to add making it weaker. I enjoy your cooking but perhaps show how you are making it. I am an old single guy so step by step would be good. Not a deal breaker for me, so no worries if you are not in the mood.

I watched over half the video, and even though i knew you said Kalama, my donkey brain kept tricking me into thinking you were freezing water frolicking at Koosah and Sehalie Falls up the McKenzie River which is one of my favorite nearby quick dip out sanctuaries to soul reset and wash the city's cluttered pace and din from aforementioned donkey brain...Upper and Lower Kalama, at first glance...clear thru to eleventh glace...appear to be a mesmerizing analog to Koosah and Sehalie. Love your vids. It's pleasant to experience someone simply being content with being where they are. I love donkeys too ;) Wander on traveler. Thanks for sharing the moments.

Kalama Falls reminds me of the Falls of Rauros of the River Anduin. I'm glad Elrond got you to the trailhead safely! The color of the upper pools is stunning and the sound of the water flow is glorious! Cold water is very healing too. Your "leftovers" looks extremely palatable (tastier than waybread I imagine). I guess if you don't want to see people except may be some dwarves, you can hide in Khazad-dûm. Thanks for sharing this very beautiful adventure! That low roar of the water while sleeping must have been so peaceful and restful. Your wisdom to "disconnect from cell service" is so enlightening. See you in the next one.
