This is Somali culture. Not this Arab culture that most Somalis adopted nowadays after civil war... Somalia needs to revamp it's culture and go back to this and we need to revamp the language and take out all Arab words that we already had. Like Bar means rain, not Roob. Eebe means God but we can still use Allah as well because its religion, Diin should be thrown away because our word for Diin is Dhaqan. More words exist like Irid instead of Albaab.

I disagree, let us keep the arabic words remember that arabic is an honourable language because it was spoken by our Prophet (SAW), why should we choose our words or the arab words, why can't we have the besf of both worlds?

Iqra is there any ajaar you get if you speak arabic?.if you wanna speak arabic learn and speak on its own,, but somali is a total different language with any other language...lets keep it original.

@ESaHaRaQuEEN3 well i didn not become angry, just annoyed, but that was then, not now.. so im glad we understand eachother now, and i appreciate your explanation about your parents seen this Somalian traditional artist performing in many parts of africa, and hence that was the good old days when Somalia and Somalians where at peace and no tribal wars ect, and soon they will perform all over africa again after somalias leave their tribalistic views and start to unite, just like K'naan Warsame
@qalbiSOMALI Yes , you are right , machallah , they still preverve the somali ancient history ; the LAND OF PUNT and the Pharaohs were from the Land of Punt , according to History ! For example "AAR" means "lion " in somali and also in ancient-egyptian language .

@slah96 Well my friend, its not much of a coincidence really, because even white scientists now are forced to admit, to the fact that the Dynastical Pharaohs of ancient Egypt; not modernday greeko-turko-roman-arab-jew-egypt that you see now, but rather the Kemetians of Ancient Egypt = Africans of Somali-coast of Somalia's PUNT-region = Somalian's like Me, infact the ancients and us Somalian's are the Same ethnic stock of peoples, us Somalians just migrated back to Somalia's Puntland-region.. HTP
@ I love you CushiticiSomalian , my brother , you are right , we are really the last dynasty of ancient egypt without doubt , I have made some research about this history and europeans historians said that the ancestors of Pharoohs have left Land of Punt and they have made this great civilisation . After the foreigner invasions and weak situation of Egypt . we have to ask ourself , why when there is a war in Congo , the frensh diaspora come back to France ? Egyptians come back to Somalia !
