Regarding somatic tracking, I'm puzzled because many TMS books advise against focusing on symptoms, but isn't that precisely what somatic tracking entails? Thanks Tanner, appreciate your feedback and videos!

It's when I started to allow my symptoms and not resist, or acknowledge the resistance as a starting point, that my symptoms have started to lessen in intensity and frequency. When I practice this less often my symptoms seem to be more intense. Takes time and practice but it definitely works:)

Yes, we want to ensure we are not focused on our symptoms intensely and watching with fear. The goal of somatic tracking is focused on the symptoms but with lightness, ease, curiosity, and calmness! So we are focusing but in a different way.
