Wow Howard, that's awesome that you have volunteered your time for 25 years.

Covid wrecked havoc on museums and public places. I appreciate volunteers and docents very much because I love history learning new things. Thank you

Kudos to everyone at the Museum who gives their time. Some of my best memories of school field trips were at the SC State Museum. Thank you all.

25 years - amazing dedication! Thanks, Jared - this was nice to get to meet some of the faces we don’t get see. I live 1,700 miles away from the museum and the chances of my ever getting there are slim to none at this point in time so I really enjoy your videos. I wouldn’t mind being taken on a tour with some of your staff sometime! 🔴

Great video. I know we all love Howard and he will always be THE guy, but it was nice to see the other people getting some well deserved time in the spotlight. Thank you my dear nerds 🙂

Really depends where you are. In the US it's short for "museum docent". In Europe it's mostly a teacher at university. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museum_docent
