I wasn't watching, had my YT playlist on, earbuds buried deep... I was certain my technology had become self aware and the end was near. Just glad to be alive and listening to Andrew Huang make insane music.

thats the best demo of this i have heard so far some people use modular systems that cost several thousand dollars to produce stuff like this, really nice, looking forward to mine

could you use this with eurorack modules? I'm thinking about starting a eurorack setup but i need to do it on a budget and i feel like this could be a good starting point for a really great system. what can I say? I'm a deadmau5 fanboy.

Yeah it has one 3.5mm CV out and you can choose what to send there by patching it in the breadboard
@sweepstakes
7 жыл бұрын
If I'm not mistaken, doesn't it actually have 2 CV ports that can be either inputs or outputs? I know it's one jack but I was led to believe that it was a stereo jack which therefore could carry 2 signals.
@andyq9669
7 жыл бұрын
it does - you need a stereo to mono splitter cable. You can use it however you like - 1 in, 1 out, 2 outs or 2 ins.

andrew, i have a difficult challenge. could you make a song with power rangers morphed sounds? (the morphers are about $15 and more accessories to get more sounds are usually around $7 each) it doesn't matter which morpher you use, they all make sounds.

Really easy to build basic analogue synths using 555 timers. Loads of examples on youtube. They cost pennies to make too.

Wait, I have a question: Why, excluding the purpose of supporting you, people would buy the sample pack if it's basicly free in this video(excluding YT audio compression and the fact that it isn't cut into separate samples)?
@jetison333

Architector #4 I imagine he makes other sounds for the sample pack, plus it's nice to have it all cut up for you

yep, but best to order an extra pack at the same time as they don't feel like they'll last forever. They're cheap as chips though, and you can get 'em from electronics parts stores. They're just insulated wires really, nowt special.

The "BitRanger" from Bastl is analogue, as is their new "softPop" unit, both have some similarities to Kastle in their nature. Kastle is not only digital, it's super-low-fi digital, crackly and crunchy. BitRanger sounds smooth and sweet by comparison, even when it's making similar patterns of noisy bleeps
