To a 9 yr old in the 80's this felt like a right of passage, where you were now old enough to go on the adult rides like Space mountain, matterhorn and thunder mountain. The scariest part was the anticipation in that dark queue area where you catch a glimpse of the one of the trains racing by in the window. Haven't been back since the mid 90's and quite frankly I'd rather remember the park the way it was.

I remember going on this version of the ride in tokyo. I personally liked the one in tokyo better because it had much better effects and was not just red all the way. I also used to be so terrified of the effect in the tunnel between the first and second lift hill. I probably would've gotten nightmares if they had that sound effect in the second lift hill.

I practically had to beg to go on this ride, my mom’s like, “I heard people got sick on it, we ain’t going”, six years later, I got to ride it for the first time, to me, it wasn’t that fast to make you sick, just enough to send your hats or glasses flyin’ off, I held on to both the whole time😂😂😂😂

If you look closely after it comes out of the second lift and as it goes onto the third one you can spot the “cookie” asteroid (as most call it) in a few areas
