When i was around 14 i always felt so sad all the time like i could never achieve the things i want in life. Im 20 now and achieved most of my set goals back then, even landed with the girl of my dreams ever since i was a kid, but the sadness never went away. Like a silent companion that drags you down when you finally feel like you accomplished something. This version captures this feeling perfectly for me.
@Nikolapoleon
2 жыл бұрын
Had a similar experience, but the effect it had on me was totally different. When I was 15 I was very paranoid and depressed all the time. I was too unhinged to just live my life. I failed out of one high school and had to be sent to another. I never had any friends that I allowed myself to trust, and the people I kept around me always drifted away before the year was over. In hindsight, I know that my classmates thought well of me, for the most part. Even my crush, I think, liked me back. She always used to laugh at my jokes. Neither of us ever admitted to anything, though, and I don't know what happened to her after I failed out of that school. I still think about her sometimes. I'm 22 now, and pursuing a masters degree. What my high school years left me with was a Napoleon Complex that runs as deep as an ocean. I don't feel the kind of sadness I used to feel in those days. I don't feel the same kind of rage, either. Just shame. Shame about how my family felt when they had to drive me home from my second school because it didn't have a bus system. Shame about how I didn't go on any dates back when I had the chance. I was handsome back then. People liked me. I just refused to see it. I'm 22 but I've already lost most of my hair, so people tell me I look much older. I think I never allowed myself to be young. Now I just want to make it up to myself. I take more classes than any of my classmates, and end up on the deans list every semester. I finished my degree faster than either of my brothers. I promised myself I'd learn waltzing, fencing, outdoor survival, and at least one foreign language. I designed a "family crest," had the emblem laser cut onto a little medallion, and pinned it to my lapel. Every day I look at it, and every day it serves as a reminder to one day build some kind of legacy. Something respectable. I still don't have long term friends. I still have never been on a date. But I promised myself I'd change that as soon as I had done enough to earn my self respect. Maybe it'll happen one day.

Gotta say you hit the nail on the head there… Same story, was a terminally lonely teen in a going nowhere slow ghost town, hope was a dim and quickly fading candle. Now I’m living my dream, moved to the city, landed my dream job, I work with some of the best of the best my field. But sometimes still when there isn’t anything to distract that old lonely still is still there, I’m not as hopeless anymore but I still feel very alone in this world. This version of this sound really does capture that neutral melancholy sadness.

When I was about 4, I nearly drowned… This song brought the memory back. I vividly remember it. My family and I had gone to, obviously, a pool, and I went to the 5ft deep area of it. I thought it would be fun to dive to the depths of it, so, a pool ladder being right next to me, I dived down. Me being a small child then, I reached the bottom, and pushed myself up with my feet, but then… I realized that push wasn’t enough to get me to the top. Having predicted this, I reached for the ladder. But what I didn’t know, as soon as I had gone under, my brother grabbed on and was hanging onto it, leaving no room for me to pull myself out of the water. I was out of air, and panicking. A strange feeling like never before overcame me. As if everything were in slow motion, I felt something peeling my conscious right out of my body. Taking it away from me. The realization of what was happening pulling me further down… Then, as if the universe itself was sparing my life, my brother moved clean out of the way, and in the final second, I used the last bit of strength I had to pull myself up out of the water. Ever since then, I never told ANYBODY about this. Instead I let it go, and forgot that feeling, the fearful realization of drowning. Until now. Instead of feeling fear, I feel nostalgia from that memory. This is an honest thank you.

Somehow, this song makes me realise how death is such an oddly beautiful thing. I mean, it's sad and all on a superficial level but if you think about it, when you die, you're basically free. Free from all the pain you've suffered, all the conflicts you got caught up in; free from emotion, desire, addiction, attachment. But at the same time, dying is sad in the sense that your loved ones are gonna be sad that you've died and you'll be missing out on so many things you wanted to do in life. Death, for me at least, invokes a sort of beautiful sadness in me.

This song reminds me that somebody's, your friend could die. Your family could die. The world could end. Nothing lasts forever, lives is there for a reason and it's to be happy for what you experience. You'll go through ups and downs. People listen to this song for different reasons. It could be nostaliga, it could be relaxation or it could be sadness. I've come here to tell you to enjoy the things that happen. You could give advice which is where you've learnt from others, but you never use it for your own good. This song gives off a very strong energy of sadness, betrayal, and depression. People could cry to this song, and others won't. We will all come back this song arleast one more time, to enjoy the times and the memories. This song my give you nostaliga itself. I agree with you. Flashing memories of what have happened to you and/or others throughout life. Life is unpredictable, so be prepared becasue you don't know what's going to happen. We shall let out emotions sometimes. Rather if it's anger, sadness, disappointment, or excitement. Sometimes we all need somebody to talk to. And that's okay, we all go through things. You know, when you talk to somebody and get help about your downs, there's a chance they could've gone through way worse. So don't judge a book by its cover. For some odd reason, this song weakens me and reminds of the bad, and the negative. I can guarantee you've come here for a reason. You are either curious, looking for a sad song, or found it somewhere. There will always be a little spec of hope out there, so don't give up what your dream is. Some enjoy the music more, and some will enjoy the lyrics more. This is a good song song meditate to. If you have any problems or things you're dealing with, just reply to me. I may not be somebody that has experience, but I try my best. I'm unfortunately not going to be available 24/7 though. Also, there are people here who lost somebody, or something that was very special to them. There's always one thing that people have possession over. I hope you have a great day/night, and stay safe ❤ P.S. if you're looking for lyrics and can't find them, here they are: 0:53 It was late at night, you held on tight. From an empty seat, a flash of light. It will take a while to make you smile, somewhere in these eyes, I'm on your side. you wide-eyed girls, you get it right. Fall, back, into, place. Fall, back, into, place. Tender is the night, for a broken heart. Who will fry your eyes when it falls apart? What makes this fragile world go round were you ever lost? was she ever found? Somewhere in these eyes.... Fall, back, into, place. Fall, back, into, place. Fall, back, into, place. Fall, back, into, place. Fall, back, into, place. Fall, back, into, place. Fall, back, into, place.

You can’t remember the exact reason you jumped into the pool, much less the reason you can’t move your limbs. You mentally struggle for a while, trying to will your arms and legs to move. As you start to lose your breath, you get a last burst of energy and your limbs finally flail around in a frantic attempt to find a ladder. The strength in your legs carries you up to the bottom rung of a ladder, but when you try to grab it, it breaks with the weight of what pulls you back down to the bottom and keeps you from moving your body any more. As your lungs start to fill with salty, chlorinated water, and your eyes burn like heck, your brain starts to wander and hallucinate. As you see family and friends, lost and unlost, a songs starts to play and you feel your body fully give out. “Fall back into place” it repeats, and you can’t help but feel greatly at peace as the universe shrinks around you and your soul ascends. As the calm song ends, even the vision of death leaves you and you are left in a warm, peaceful darkness… Edit: Guys this was just a little creative writing. If you don't like it, that's okay. There was a time when I was like 17 and went on a boy scout trip to the Virgin Islands where me and a few of my friends got to sail around for a week. One morning we were docked in an inlet on an island and I wanted to get off the boat with a friend and my cousin to catch up with the adults who had left even earlier. We packed all of our stuff into one bag and decided I should carry it to shore as the strongest among us. I tried swimming to shore while holding it above my head and slowly began to lose all energy. Nearly drowned before I...

Imagine this song being used for a horror series. An episode can have some Junji Ito type of theme, where random monsters attract people to watered areas to drown themselves. The last person to exist dies with this playing.

It was late at night You held on tight From an empty seat A flash of light It will take a while To make you smile Somewhere in these eyes I'm on your side You wide-eyed girls You get it right Fall back into place Fall back into place Tender is the night For a broken heart Who will dry your eyes When it falls apart? What makes this fragile world go 'round? Were you ever lost? Was she ever found? Somewhere in these eyes Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into place Fall back into

Wanna know what's crazy? That there's rumours that when you're beginning to die, you hear your favorite song faintly. I just think it's crazy because, you could say a song is your favorite song. But, when you die, that's the only time you'd find out what your favorite song really is. Crazy, isn't it?

Ngl death sounds pretty good rn. I've had a chronic health problem since 2019 that suddenly came up and has ruined my life ever since. I can't focus to create anything to even try to work towards my unrealistic goals of being a freelance animator. I can hardly leave the house to go grocery shopping, I can hardly manage eat those grocieres. I can forget about getting a job or further education or making friends or going to fun things like the theaters. I've lost nearly all my muscle mass from just sitting still all day trying not to puke what food I manage to get in me. I never feel well enough to even brush my teeth or shower but once a week, if that. I spend my days telling myself I should be doing things while moving brings me physical pain and makes my perpetual nausea worse, while also having to keep my main focus on how I feel in case I need a mad dash to the bathroom, so I can't even focus long enough to do things. I don't want to die, but it's the best option. This isn't living.

as you were pulled into the water, you felt a moment of relief. the cold water making you relaxed. you look up and all you can see is the blur of surface, you're sinking to the bottom and you don't resist or put up a fight, you wonder 'is this right?' feeling doubt for this decision, you look around for a ladder. you've sanken to low, you sigh as you can't turn back now. you let the water slowly take you.

This remind me of one time when i was actually drowning and i saw 1 of my cousin swimming around the area i was drowning so i try to get his attention but he didn't help me and my sister ended up helping me. I thought okay maybe he didn't see me but then he said "you were drowning right" and i was like "Yesss why didn't u help me!" But he then just laughed it off....Like i thought i was actually gonna die. I was accepting my faith and he didn't freaking help me 🤡
