I re-find this post in my recommended just about once every year. When I first found this I was at my all time low and really sick and now every time I listen to this it brings back a flood of memories from every point in my life up until now. It reassures me that i’m doing better now. I can’t believe how much my life has changed since I first heard this with only a handful of other people in the comments. If you’re reading this take it as a sign that things do get better. Even if you can’t feel the progress day to day, life always moves forward.

I love those slowed down, lowered pich, bass boosted versions of my favorite songs and I think... that happens because finding those different versions and listening to then... is like discovering that good music again for the first time if y're reading this, have a nice day, do what you like and what makes you healthy <3

One night (almost 2 years ago), I saw this video in my recommended and clicked on it, never having heard the song. It introduced me to my comfort song for the next bit of my life, still get chills hearing it. Thank you.

(Just a little story idk.. I have fun making characters have a plot twist.) (Character: Leo valdez from the series, Heroes of olympus by Rick Riordan.) *Leo’s screams were barely audible as he was underwater, drowning.. slowly. He tried to swim ashore but the water was too heavy to bare. He was panicking as his wounds were making him tired. He couldn’t do anything as he heard the muffled music from the Argo ||. It made him remember all the moments, memories, and seconds of his life. He tried to make a fire from his hand to try to help him but it would make him end up inhaling the fire. His lungs were burning as he had a tear (idk if it’s possible) and smiled, remembering this could probably be the end of his life. His eyes were getting heavy as he heard screams aboard the Argo || from his friends. His eyes closed as he slowly drifted to the bottom of the ocean, dying slowly. He was now.. with his mother.* The end 🤭🤭 (Do not send replies like: “iTs WoRsE tHaN tHaT wItH dRoWnInG. I’m just trying to make stories, chill.)

For some reason it reminds me of a girl who I had feelings for and I felt I related to and had a lot in common with in high school who I was too scared to tell her how I felt and weeks later she already had a boyfriend. It sucks being alone. I was quiet at school and didn’t talk to a lot of people and I was weird and so was she, making her perfect and ideal to me. I guess life goes on.

@@kevinbatfan1989 well i had a classmate that shares the same name (Alex) as me, he is friends with my crush, so one day my crush texted me on instagram and we had a great conversation, so starting from that day I texted her almost everyday until she realised she was talking to the wrong Alex, that shit was so embarrassing and sad at the same time. I thought we were getting closer until that happened, It hurts more than a break up

Your family wanted to go on a trip for summer and go swimming. As you were in the car, you were thinking about your past and your future. You were distracted and lost in your thoughts, a few hours later you arrived at the pool. Even though you didn't know how to swim, it was fun. After a few hours your family members went into their room, and you were all alone. You played a song called "Space Song by Beach House" on the speakers, It was so calming. It felt like life wasn't real, you were a depressed kid and wanted to end your life because it was miserable. You slowly drowned yourself and the music was muffled, you broke down in tears. You left a note that wrote "I love you, and I always will." You smiled as you were slowly drowning. - Zaki May 5 2022. ( Please don't steal! )

You jump into the water, playing around with your friends. You all want to have a breath-holding contest, and decide the winner gets to have a churro. Everyone plugs their nose and dives in. You stay under for a while, enjoying the feeling of the cool water all around you. You’ve let all of your breath out so your body will sink to the bottom of the deep end. It’s peaceful for a moment. It’s so quiet. Only 10 seconds pass and you begin to feel discomfort. You haven’t reached the bottom yet, but your lungs are burning. The middle of your chest feels like it’s spasming. You need air. Your eyes are open now, helplessly trying to make sense of the blurry images they’re seeing. Water forces its way past your lips, into your nose, and down your lungs as they forcefully contract. Just one breath. You just need one breath. You realize you can’t reach the surface of the water. All of the breath in your body that could have floated you to the top was gone. Your fingers start clawing desperately to reach the wall, the tiles. They remain invulnerable to the scratches of your fingernails as you grip with all of your adrenaline-induced strength. Your vision is darkening around the edges, making a tunnel. White spots are dancing around your eyes. Your entire being feels like it’s being pressed into a point the size of a needle. Your heart beats harder from your panic, struggling without the oxygen it needs. Your stomach and chest are convulsing. More water entering your lungs. You can’t kick anymore. You’re barely holding on. The weight of your own body is pulling you down. You almost give up before you feel freezing air against your fingertips. You’ve reached the top of the wall. You aimlessly flop your hands around before grabbing the cold, rough stone. You pull yourself out, choking as you try to pull in air. Water comes back up your throat and onto the floor in front of your face as you retch it out. Your friends gather around you as they realize you’re struggling to breathe. You’re blinking, hard and fast, against the stinging sensation of pool water in your eyes. Your friends help you out of the water, gathering around you before going back in to enjoy the pool after checking that you’re okay. You sit on the bench for a while, the chlorine making your headache worse as you shake uncontrollably from both the cold and anxiety. The towel you were given provides some small relief with its warmth. It dries the water around your shoulders, reminding you that you’re safe. You call your parents so you can go home a few minutes later, still staring into nothing and trying to comprehend the shock of what just happened. The seat of the car sticks to your legs and the bumps in the road reach you as if in a dream. A sharp dream. After you shower the chlorine off with warm water, you put on soft pajamas. You sit on your bed. Your blankets have never felt so soft. You curl up into a ball and start crying so hard that you hiccup. It knocks the rest of the energy you have in you out. You fall asleep, on top of your blankets with wet, tangled hair. You haven’t been in a pool since.

bro I almost drowned once and this is actually how it felt- it was relaxing in a way? -slowly sinking- -everyone’s voices are muffled- -you can’t think- I mean now I have trauma and can’t swim very well since I didn’t swim much after that *but it was pretty nice*
