I bought a couple of those from Crutchfield in the late 80's and ran them in bridge mode to 2 rockford 10s. The dynamic power is no joke. I still have one of the amps in service. Nichicon caps never quit.

@@vintagestereobuff7005 sir, is that Proton D275 available for purchase? I've only found a couple and they are in very poor condition. I remember them being sold by Crutchfield and always wanted to experience the DPD feature. Too bad the company is no longer in business. Very innovative concept. Enjoyed your tests, thanks!

hi, what wires you use for bridge on Proton?

The Proton amps do not hook up the same as most others. On most amps I have tested the left channel posititive and the right channel negative are used for bridged mode. On the Proton you use the left channel positive (green) to the speaker positive and the right channel positive (blue) to the speaker negative. When the bridging button is out(on), only the right channel input is connected by the button.
