I love your videos and the personal information about yourself that you share. I really appreciate all the information in your videos, jammed packed with useful facts. I actually bought rosemary oil to put in my hair when you had mentioned about rosemary and hair growth in a previous video. Thank you so much. I do a lot of screen shots, especially when you share recipes. You and the content you share are awesome.

Gardening note: Rosemary is easy. It's a tough plant it will survive. Mint is dangerous. It will take over everything and I mean everything. I made the mistake of planting mint - I'll be pulling it out of the ground for the rest of the my life. The tender spices take work - you have to be careful they don't get over watered or underwatered. Dill bolts in hot weather which we have so it is difficult. As for cilantro, it tastes like soap to me so don't tell people that everybody can get used to it.

I was taking a grounded spice blend every day. A 1/4 teaspoon each of turmeric, ginger, black cumin, pippali or long pepper and Amla gooseberry. Which comes out to be total of 1-1/4 teaspoon. I wrap the spice blend in a potato starch pouch and swallow it every night before bed. I bought the grounded spices from a Indian market. I recently stopped because I was concern that they could have potential heavy metals in the spices, being its a 1-1/4 teaspoon everyday. Should I be concern about this or am I over reacting??

I'm skeptical about studies that state that rosemary works for hair loss.
I was thinking along the same lines. However, while it is common to talk of herbs when it is fresh leaves; and noone would think to call tree bark (cinnamon) or flower stamens (saffron) herbs, we use herbs to spice our food. That would make herbs a subgroup of plant matter commonly used to make our food taste more interesting - and make it healthier at the same time.

Ah cilantro! It is not the strength of its flavour, but a genetic difference that affects about 15% of people. For us poor sods cilantro just tastes like soap. I‘ve tried and tried. Now I sometimes have a vague feeling what it must be like to eat cilantro and like it. I like the smell, but i just does not translate into a great taste, as it should. To make up for my culinary loss I Iove to use coriander seeds in my cooking and replace cilantro with parsley when I come across it in recipes.

I meet someone her food was so fragrant you couldn’t wait to eat it. Then your first bite was 🤢. I kid you not.

Did you know that in some peoples DNA, Cilantro tastes like soap! I used to eat something and say it tastes like soap. I never knew that until a 23 and me report told me!
