God you are so talented Holly! I am utter convinced the archangels of soapmaking work directly through you - to inspired us. This is spiritual work. To feel inspired watching you work is to be ‘in-spirit’ - in a moment of alignment with the soul within. Gratitude, and gratitude again. 🌞✨

Thank you for sharing this, Holly! the soap was stunning. what ingredients would you say give a really creamy soap? I am really keen to make some but just not sure of the ingredients to do it . Thank you for all your amazing videos i very much appreciate all the work you put into it, and it shows how much you enjoy soapmaking. x

Thank you!! I love making a simple unscented 3 oil soap but my favorite soap to use is still my 60% shea butter soap. I have videos on those in case you’re interested. The shea butter soap has a very thick creamy lather and is not drying at all. :)

Hi,do you have to do that oven thing??????? Or can you just stick to a CP way??? Thanks for beautiful soap tutorial
@hollysoapmaking
7 ай бұрын
No, you don’t have to use the warm oven. I just wanted to make sure the soap gelled all the way. You could try soaping at a slightly higher temp (95° to 100°F) and then wrapping the mold in a blanket overnight on the counter. Or if you’d rather avoid gel, you can put it in the fridge overnight (it will just take longer to unmold and cut). Hope this helps! :)

Just wondering why you don’t spray your soaps with alcohol ? Is it the Lye that keeps it from the “ash “ to form on top?
@moonbaby747
5 ай бұрын
Spraying with alcohol is a personal preference. It is not required but some spray with alcohol, some leave it be, and some steam once it’s ready to cut.
