If you rewatch 'Hi Ren', you will notice the call back to this song. "...we've heard it all before, uhh She Sells Seashells on the Seashore..."

Truth! He made the 2nd part so easy for people to understand. Plus, that was some good lyricism and some of those bars were not easy to squeeze into the beat.

Ong at 11:21 he even "blacks out the screen" so it's reflection is the mirror showing the "torturer" from money game 1, ie the audience, in the mirror. I actually really appreciate this more straightforward imagery even though I prefer this first version still haha.

Great reaction! Another Ren song with similar commentary is Crucify Your Culture, though that one has a completely different musical sound. Also, Animal Flow, Ren's new release, is dropping today on youtube in just a few hours! Hope everyone checks out the drop! Ren premieres are mad!

I'd never heard of REN before I saw him in your videos. Irony is, I usually avoid all your music videos as they don't interest me, but for some reason I watched - I think - the second one of his you posted and promptly went and watched a load of his stuff. An amazingly original artist. Thanks for giving me a road into his work.

You might enjoy some of The Big Push music videos also as it is a band Ren was in. Such as Dignity, Why My Woman, Sweet Little Lady, Precious. Also if you haven't already done it, you definitely must watch the live version of a duet he did with Chinchilla called Chalk Outlines!

Other way around .bagman is the power, ren the judge. Then he turns the mirror and burns himself. I remember the monk that burned himself in protest during the Vietnam war

Another great one to do is What You Want. Ren can be deep, but on this one he's just having fun. It's a spot on homage to the Beastie Boys and early 90's hip hop. I guarantee you'll be singing the chorus for weeks. He also gets chucked out of Iceland at the end (the supermarket, not the country).

Great reaction, I generally watch your British comedy reactions, so I already like you two guys. Ren's Money Game pt 2 is my favourite as it features British politics I grew up with. Could you do Tom Macdonald's new track - Dirty Money - sticking with the theme.

In the 1830's The Shell Trading Company began selling exotic sea shells. They imported tropical shells and sold them as shell bejeweled boxes and such. As the importer (Marcus Samuel) was able to control the flow of shells and manipulate supply and demand. His son's inherited and began also selling kerosene and eventually the Shell Oil Company was born and still exists today. So this video using selling sea shells is amazing. (and also based on historical fact).

Something to remember when you think you want to watch the world burn: It's all of the people doing worse than you that will be the ones burning first, and all of the people who set it on fire will be safe in their bunkers, untouched by the flames. Wanting the world to burn is the philosophy of those who haven't actually experienced fire.

I hope you have discovered Ren and Chinchilla performing Chalk Outlines and also How to Be Me which are both original songs by Ren. I will keep looking through your catalogue now and have subscribed to your channel so I will be notified when you drop more Ren reactions. Please, keep them coming!

2008, everybody is looking at the Bankers as the World collapsed and one bright Banker looked out of his window and saw the Occupy Wall St demo and said, "Introduce them to Identity Politics". 2023, 3 of the 4 biggest Banking Collapses of all time occur within 60 days and the Population is too busy being Divided and ultimately Conquered...

I'm so glad you two have gone out of your usual (great) content to have a look at this guy cos I believe he's the most inspirational artist we've had for decades and is making many musicians (myself included) revaluate what you can do with music as far as production and arrangement go and that's not even addressing the fact that he's a monster lyricist with real **** to say. By the way, this song is why CNN really attacked Ren, they have to undermine him just like every "news" channel will as he gets bigger, CNN, Fox, MSNBC etc. they're all owned by the same group of sociopaths.

I'm British and generally not into conspiracy theories, but as far as CNN and Fox are concerned I think you are 100% right. The imagery he uses in Money Game 2 questions US politics and how it's primarily funded by big business, (and the MAGA supporters in particular) and thats not what the media want to see exposed to the younger voting population.

We all love Ren, and what CNN did is disgraceful, but playing devils advocate, Ren took a video clip from the Charlie Chapin film "The Great Dictator." Written, directed and starred Charlie Chaplin. The very short clip stated at 11.33secs. That is the very famous speech from the film. It was a satire on the Hitler. That speech is regarded as the greatest speech ever, and is still relevant today 😉😊

I am not partial to hip hop or rap and so avoided Ren.....until today, and aaaaAAARRRGGGHH-what the F**K. This guy is NOT a rapper or hip-hop artist--- He is an ARTIST. Everything I have seen so far is up there with Dickens (author) Constable (landscape painter) and the best inner-city documentaries. He tells as much about life in one video/track than the others combined
