I don't know what it is exactly - but your channel really motivates me. It kind of shows how beautiful math is, even though I sometimes find it very difficult...

For one application of this theorem to (elliptic) partial differential equations: The Markinewiecz Interpolation Theorem can be used to show that Calderon-Zygmund Operators of convolution type (i.e. a class of singular integral operators) are continuous on L^p for 1

Happy spring break! Hope you have a good break. I also enjoy listening to your videos and watching them as I do my own math and biology work. This week I took my main exams for bio and math, for bio I made a 90%, and math made an 88%, then took the quarter exams and for bio made an 86%, and math made a 93%. It's always calming to listen to you while studying so yeah, thank you. Hope to see another video soon, and take care.

Waiting for that Measure Theory series! I have started a Phd in Game theory this year, but so far I have been just learning math that I didn't learn in my bachelor's degree ( Economics ). My advisor suggested to me to learn some measure theory.

u should start with some topology -> basic analysis -> measure theory. it gets wayyyyy easier that way

Thanks! I have already done a course which covers the basis of topology and Real analysis, that's why my advisor suggested to jump to measure theory@@Apuryo

makes total sense! I myself enrolled into undergrad as BS econ then switched to BS math and minor econ due to lack of mathematical rigor at my particular institution.@@mishalevintov1060

I have odd questions but here they are. How many hours do you put in everyday ? Do you study with music ? What is your working environment like ? Do you find yourself struggling to stay focused / motivated when working at the same desk everyday ? How do you approach topics that do not interest you (if there is any !) ?

No problem. 1. I put in at least 8 hours everyday, including weekends. 2. The majority of the time, I study with music. 3. My table in all my videos is where I do almost all my work. Sometimes my office table at work but that is rare. 4. Staying focused isn't too hard for me these days because I am older and have been practicing math for over a decade now. I love what I do, so there are few complaints. 5. I am pretty open minded, so getting into a new topic that is unfamiliar isn't too bad. Not to say there were topics I did not hate lol. When I found myself truly despising a topic, I would either power through, ask for help, or take an unhealthy amount of breaks. But this doesn't happen too much these days.

really excited for the measure theory vids! measure theory keeps coming up during readings related to projects i'm working on for my PhD (theoretical chemistry) and i haven't had the time to dive into it.

I wonder why they are called interpolation theorem, I countered one called Riesz-Thorin interpolation theorem and I was hell to prove, it essentially was an estimate of bounds of norms of operators.

Did you ever read through the Cover and Thomas Information Theory Textbook? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Information Theory is a really interesting area imo.

Be careful with what you call a bounded linear operator. It is bounded, not because the norm of Tf is finite, but because this norm can be bounded by a constant times the Lp norm of f. Being a bounded linear operator from X to Y, two Banach spaces, is equivalent to being Lipschitz continuous (with a finite Lip constant)

Some of your videos are extremely bright like the brightness on my phone is maxed. It's weird. Does anyone know what this is? It's annoying when I want to chill out or before bed.
