Thanks for sharing your weekend with us. Great deals at the grocery store and your curbside deals were a hit too. Yard work can be tiring but the end result is so wonderful and beautiful. Your front yard is looking great! Love that you got to enjoy the fair and all the yummy food after a productive weekend. Gotta love our fur babies🐕❤🐈, smell and all! lol.

Yaaayyy for free curb-side furniture pick-ups!!! Cory is a great hubby - definitely knows the right reaction to your curbside haul, lol I have a gorgeous ottoman in my living room that I got for free. it would easily cost $200-300 new. I don't know how you stand doing the nasal treatment, I can't take that. Hazel is so funny and I love the idea of the annual bluebells pose!! 😍 I've heard of drinking pickle juice, but I'd probably need some vodka to make it worthwhile, lol. Congrats to Olivia on the job and wow, the food looks amazing so it should do really well!! Love your front yard glow-up!! LOL on the hidden stone path, love it!

Pickle martinis are also popular around here. You would probably love those. I bet your ottoman is so cool. I forgot to attach my video in the description box of some really cool curbside freebies so thanks for reminding me. I hope you have a blessed weekend!❤

Kelli that is exactly what I do I shop then make my menu based on what I was able to get. It totally makes more sense to do it that way then to be like I think I want to have spaghetti for dinner and buy a couple pounds of hamburger when it is 4.99 a pound when you could have got some chicken breasts for 1.99 a pound. That was a great buy on the pineapple and strawberries!

Agreed my friend. We just need to change our mindset when it comes to grocery shopping. Deals can still be had but we definitely are at the mercy of the grocery stores and what they decide to lower the price on each week.

@@Livingforgiven Since we live in a very small city of about 1600 people we have the grocery which I would compare to an IGA store, a dollar general, and a family dollar for food unless we go for a drive! Since we have been here for 6 months now I am starting to see where I need to go to save the most money! Milk, creamer, sour cream, and cottage cheese is to be bought at the Dollar General. I use to get the bread there too but now I have a great recipe to make an easy sandwich loaf of bread the is very similar to store bought. All of those things are at least $1 cheaper than the store but they don't sell fresh food there. At the grocery I check the clearance end cap first! It has all sorts of products that are shelf stable but approaching or just passing the best buy. I get all sort of things there for pennies on the dollar! Next I look for the reduced items in the produce area. They have a red sticker that either says manager special or reduced. Next I get whatever fruits and veggies were on sale if any lol. I do the same in the meat area that has packaged stuff like sandwich meat, bacon, and sausage and again in the fresh meat area! Then I look at the sale items. And lastly the dairy area for the markdowns. Last week I got 10 ounces of 30 already cutup squares of pepper jack cheese for $1! That was a nice treat while watching our Saturday night movie! My goal is $25 my budget is $50 per week. It is not a hard number but the less I spend the more I get to save. This also does not count towards cleaning and hygiene or animal stuff! I also do not buy package foods my I don't feel like cooking food is leftovers that were frozen lol. We stick them in the microwave and dinner is done!

@@rachaelsupadventures I definitely need to step up my "from scratch " game and stop buying bread, pasta, tortillas etc. Please let me know if you ever start a youtube channel. I think you have a lot of great tips.

@@Livingforgiven I have a channel but not much on it I need to figure out something to make videos with my phone sucks lol I can make like under 2 minute videos anything bigger and my phone does not like it. Everything else works on it though. Also we don't have a local carrier here so I am not exactly sure how it will work when I have to get a new phone! I am guessing maybe online or changed carriers. So I need something that is not a phone to make the videos. and I am looking for ideas!

@@Livingforgiven My tortillas look nothing like store bought lol but taste great! I have a great bread recipe finally to make sandwich bread I haven't tried pasta yet but it looks pretty simple. I have tons of pasta I need to use in my pantry first! Its winter and I have a lot of time on my hands and not a lot to do so cooking helps fill the gap!

Awww fair food . I am kind of afraid to go to the fair here cause I feel like I might be disappointed lol. There isn't a lot of different ethnic groups around here.

Fairs definitely aren't what they used to be in my opinion. Just like everything else, prices of everything (food, games, rides) have gone up and quality of stuff has gone down. I can't eat all that stuff like I uses to.
